INTRODUCTION
o---------------------o
Bust a Move Universe aka Puzzle Bobble 3D in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS is as
entertaining as most of the games in the Bust-a-Move/Puzzle series. I'll admit
that this game is very easy compared to the others it seems. If you are a fan
of geometry or not, it does come into play when trying to match colors as you
try to shoot at the correct angle.

STORY
o---------------------o
You play as Bub the green dinosaur. Your friends have been captured and they've
been encased in saucers by different enemies from the Bubble Bobble universe.
It is up to you to gather all the keys needed to free one friend at a time as
you go through several worlds containing 10 levels a piece and then you defeat
the boss at the end of the world. If you manage to rescue your friend then you
will receive a bonus to help you fight the boss.

CONTROLS
o---------------------o
The controls are fairly simple, use the d-pad or analog to move pointer, left
or right and try to get the right trajectory and press the Y button to fire the
bubble at the cluster above.
You can also use the touch screen/d-pad/analog stick to maneuver through the
menus.
Press Start to pause the game.
Press the X button to use your special attack.

MODES

There are 2 modes: Puzzle and Challenge
Puzzle takes you through several worlds to rescue your friends. Get the required
amount of keys in one world to rescue your friend in that world then at the end
of the 10th level of that world you face off against the boss character for that
world. Make three bombs touch each other to blow them up and damage the boss's
barrier.

Challenge Mode takes you through three modes to see how many bubbles and rounds
you can clear within a certain amount of time. You can have 100 sec, 300 sec,
or nonstop bubbles in which case is a test of endurance. There is an easy mode,
normal mode (limited time to shoot) or hard mode (no guidelines).

IMPROMPTU TIPS
o---------------------o
-Obviously the first thing you already know is to match three or more bubbles
of the same color to clear them.
-Just remember, you have to shoot the bubble into the cluster as the matching
colors touching each other at the level start does not count. Popping those
leads to a higher score
-If you pop a color cluster and anothe bubble is left unattached to the ceiling
or another bubble above it or on the side, that bubble vanishes off the screen
as opposed to dropping like it did in other Bust-a-Move/Puzzle Bobble games but
the effect is still the same.
-If enough extra bubbles disapper, you are given extra time. This darkens the
screen and disables the bubbles on screen. Shoot the bubble in your arsenal as
the time counts down and when time is up, matching bubbles will pop for extra
points and you might get see a special picture of Bub posing.
-Your end of level score is determined by how fast you beat it. You will get no
points if you take too long to beat the level.
-For rescuing your friend, you get a rapid fire bonus to assist you during the
boss fight. Just hold down the fire button and fire away.
-Even if the boss is not beaten within the time limit, the stage is still clear
when the time bar runs out.
-You may have your dinofriends to save but the guideline is your best friend.
Use it to determine the angle you want to shoot at. Unlike other games in the
series, it will never abandon you for the whole game.
-There are three special bubbles you can use to get you out of a jam. When you
pop bubbles, a special meter fills up and it level up when filled to the max.
There are three levels: Level 1 is the chameleon bubble that transforms all of
the surrounding bubbles to the same color as the target bubble. Level 2 is a
wildcard bubble that eliminates color clusters of 2 or more that it touches.
Level 3 is the thunder bubble which produces a spotlight that becomes a laset
that detroys all bubles in range.
-Do not use Thunder on the keys or it'll be lost for good instead of gained.
Same will happen if you pop a cluster above it that collapses it without one
of the cluster bubbbles touching it.

Boss: Bubble Buster/Zen-Chan/Bonzo
This boss loves to jump a lot so some bubbles you shoot at it are bound to miss
by going through it when it jumps. This would be a good idea to rescue Bob in
the stage as the rapid fire will help a lot.

Hullaballoon flies in a figure-8 pattern similar to its incarnation in the
Bubble Bobble series. Try to shoot at it at the correct time to blow it up.

The bombs come in two colors (Blue and Yellow) this time around. It was just
blue from the previous bosses. Match 3 bombs of the same color to blow them up.

Beluga likes to bounce around like a pinball, fire at it and try to match three
like colors and keep attacking till the bubble barrier burst.

Coiley fights similar to Bubble Buster only it tends to jump more often and the
fight is using two colored bombs as with the other bosses that started with the
Desert Zone.

The boss moves all over the place much like Incendo only you got to deal with
red, yellow, and blue bombs to defeat it. Defeat it to finish all the levels.
