Welcome to my FAQ/Walkthrough for the first Angry Birds game to ever come to
the consoles, which is also my first, having never owned a cellular phone. >_>
Angry Birds: The Trilogy is a compilation of the three most popular Angry Birds
games to date - the original, Seasons, and Rio. Like all remakes, you'll get
some extras in here - achievements, more levels, and so on. In the end, it all
comes together for one epic game, be it on the 3DS, PS3, or 360.

Welcome to part one of the walkthroughs. This one covers the game where it
all started -- Angry Birds.
I would like to mention this. Throughout the course of this and all of the
other walkthroughs, I would assume that you went through chronologically as
presented in the FAQ - Classic, Seasons, Rio - and went through the levels as
described chronologically. This will keep everything together when reading,
okey-dokey?
This guide will often assume you can comprehend the physics of the game, and
will pretty much just tell you where to shoot. Got it? It's kinda pointless
putting down the extraneous information unless very noteworthy, so I won't
really bother.

Level 1-1

If you zoom at the pig's tower, you'll see some bluish-white blocks. These
glass blocks are your target, and will probably guarantee a one-hit win.
If you don't know how to shoot, use the stylus to draw back on the slingshot.
The further you draw back, the more powerful the shot, and the more distance
you get and force you hit with. After the shot, gravity will take hold,
bringing the bird to the ground. That's the basics for now.

Level 1-2

Simply aim specifically at one of the pigs, preferably the leftmost. If you aim
at the leftmost, you'll likely cause a chain reaction knocking over the rest of
the lower set, and possibly even the high one. If you miss any, just aim for
'em.

Level 1-3
---------
You see that light-brown rock atop the rocky hill? Hit it and a winner is you.

Level 1-4
---------
Use one shot to break the glass shield around the house, then aim for the base;
if you knock out a wall, there goes the pig.

Level 1-5
---------
Looking at the enemy fort, you can see a gray stone boulder, right? Below there
you'll find three pigs. Kind of like this:

/OOO\ all else is ice. Basically, you want to aim on the left side of the
----- tower at the P's (pigs) below the boulder. With some luck, this will
#| |# release the boulder and smash the pigs further down.

Level 1-6

Not a lot to say about this level. You can either try aiming at the left side
of the pig's "houses", or skim a bird along the top of the left house, hoping
it will break both the right pig's house and the roof of the left house to let
some stuff in.

Level 1-7

Here, I'd probably aim for the ice block on the lower level, on the left side.
If you remove that support, pretty much everything else goes on down, letting
the pigs die by falling or crushing.

Level 1-8
---------
See the boulder on top of the hill? Hit it, then pretty much hit anyone else on
the left side that survived, which is rarely more than one pig.
---------
Level 1-9
---------
Aim for the left side of the left tower. I'd try hitting the room where the pig
is, since it'll be easier to move with one bird and will likely knock it down
into the other tower and the remaining pig. If the right tower remains, as it
has a tendency to do, just hit its left side where the pig is.
----------
Level 1-10
----------
Here, you'll find some Blue Birds. You can use their special ability - press A
in mid-air or tap the Touch Screen in mid-air - to split one into three. One
will take a higher path, another a lower path, and one will continue along the
originally-intended path.
Here, basically just shoot them at the right tower. With luck, splitting will
end up forcing it down, since you'll use more force with three hits than one.
Some of the birds will also roll down into the icy right side of the left
tower, breaking its supports and crushing that pig.

Level 1-11
----------
Aim your Red Bird at the top of the big tower to dislodge stuff, possibly
defeating the pig atop the tower, and knocking a block onto the pigs below it.
You may even be lucky enough to hit the big pig with one. If not, you can
always use a Blue Bird and split it to hit the remainder.
----------
Level 1-12
----------
The tower ahead is composed both of ice and wood blocks. Shoot your first Blue
Bird at the base of the ice portion of the tower, then send your remaining
birds at what is left to smash the rest. A shot from high-up is preferred if
you need to finish off any extras.
----------
Level 1-13
----------
Use head-on strikes with your Blue Birds and split when near the fortress to
begin shattering ice and supports. Odds are, you'll do it right and leave only
the center pig, if at all - a high up shot with your second Blue Bird or a Red
Bird is best here to abuse the acceleration of gravity to shatter covering
material.
----------
Level 1-14
----------
Here, you'll probably want to first aim at the stack of rocks above the pit of
pigs; smashing the ice will yield the best results.
Alternatively, you can try aiming directly at the pigs. If you do it just
right, the bird will slide along the ground and hit all or most of the pigs.
----------
Level 1-15
----------
Here, you want to use high-up shots to hit the middle tower from above,
splitting the Blue Bird as you get above the tower. You should end up hitting
the two side-pigs with one bird each, and weakening the tower with the last
one. One more Blue Bird from above will finish it.
----------
Level 1-16
----------
Here, you get introduced to the Yellow Bird. This cool li'l birdie will
accelerate whenever you press A or tap the Touch Screen during its flight.
It is basically a speed boost and a power boost. You can also send it way up
high into space for an achievement.
In this level, basically use the speed boosts to drill through the base of
the fortress, killing pigs upon impact, or the ones above by letting them fall
and get crushed.

Level 1-17
----------
Same deal as 1-16, but aim at the base of the wooden portion, and not the
stone.
----------
Level 1-18
----------
Basically speed-drill right at the pigs. Not much strategy to this one.
----------
Level 1-19
----------
First, do a high-up shot towards the structure, splitting with the Blue Bird
as you get near to shatter most of the ice barrier. Have the Yellow Birds
then speed-drill into the base, letting the Red Bird finish off the pig if
needed, though it usually isn't.
----------
Level 1-20
----------
Have the Yellow Birds speed-drill into the leftmost part of the wooden part of
the structure to loosen out the boulder, then use high-up shots, with a speed
boost on the way down, to thrust your way to the pig's lair.
----------
Level 1-21
----------
First, use a splitting Blue Bird to dismantle the lower-left support to crush a
pig. Use the next bird or two to fell the middle tower, then begin a top-down
assault towards the middle pig. Once he's gone, repeat with the other pig.
---------
Level 2-1
---------
I'd probably begin with the far right structure and attacking its base; that
will usually remove those pigs. Then a few high-up shots from the remaining
birds will end it.

Level 2-2
---------
A bunch of high shots with the Blue Birds, splitting near the ice pit, should
do the trick. Just remember the top-right pig on the ledge.
---------
Level 2-3
---------
Just have everyone attack the base.

Level 2-4
---------
Let your Yellow Bird drill through the ice-wood structure to defeat that pig,
then have someone else attack the ice keeping the boulders immobile to the
right; the boulders will roll down and defeat the remaining three pigs.

Level 2-5
---------
Here, you learn of the Bomb Birds. These black ravens will explode when you
press A or tap the Touch Screen during their flight, making them very lethal.
Here, you'll want to aim them between the towers and the central structure,
then explode. Any survivors should be aimed at directly, then let the bird
explode when as near as possible.

Level 2-6
---------
Aim for the top-leftmost structure with the first Bomb Bird, but let it blow
up on its own; you'll likely end up removing a lot of debris and killing some
pigs. Try to land the next bird between the remaining two on bottom, then
explode before it can roll away or something.
---------
Level 2-7
---------
Have your Yellow Bird go up high, aiming for the center of the tower on its
way down, then let it speed through. This *will* defeat one pig; if the other
two survive, send a Bomb Bird into the hole to finish it. You will end up
needing to send the second Yellow Bird into the tower to loosen everything up;
if the stones don't kill the pigs, then BOOM!

Level 2-8
---------
Send the Yellow Bird drilling into the right tower. With some luck, you'll send
the boulder right into some others to kill those pigs, and the Yellow Bird will
fall onto the big pig in the gap. The pig in the tower itself is unlikely to
survive, but, if it does, send the Red Bird onto its head.
---------
Level 2-9
---------
Pretty much send everything at the grouping of blocks to try and force it all
down to squish the li'l piggy. If you send the first Bomb Bird onto the front
of the group, and let it explode just as it touches it, you'll win.
----------
Level 2-10
----------
Drill the Yellow Bird through the base of the left tower, and the Red Bird
towards the room in which the other pig is. If a stone doesn't fall to kill
the last one, a well-aimed high shot should finish it.
Alternatively, drilling the Yellow Bird through the two rooms with the pigs
may result in a one-bird win.
----------
Level 2-11
----------
Send a Bomb Bird into the middle of the ice pool to explode on its own, likely
killing all of the pigs, or at least the one below the structure. If survivors
remain, send more Birds.
----------
Level 2-12
----------
Use a bunch of top-down strikes and drills to get at the pigs. If anything,
you'll open up enough to let the Bomb Bird do the trick, though you can easily
do it with the Yellow Birds.
----------
Level 2-13
----------
Use a bunch of top-down attacks on the right, wooden side of the structure to
dig a hole, so to speak, where the Bomb Birds can get in and detonate close
enough to the pigs to kill them or at least shift the structure such that it
crushes them.
----------
Level 2-14
----------
Here, you learn of the White Bird and its skill - laying eggs. Explosive eggs.
So white grenades? Whatever. Basically, press A or tap the Touch Screen as the
White Bird flies to lay an explosive egg that will explode upon hitting an
object.
Use this skill to defeat the pigs. Remember, drop the egg when you're over or
just plain near the pig; the egg will fall straight down.

Level 2-15
----------
Send one egg into the left gap, one into the right gap, then three into the
central stone structure.
----------
Level 2-16
----------
Drop an egg on the first structures via the White Bird; I'd probably try to
make a low trajectory so I could also ram into the right tower, to lessen the
work on the Yellow Bird. You could also try putting the egg between the first
two structures to kill two birds with one stone. So to speak.
If you do so, lay the next egg next to the final tower and, if it fails, drill
into the tower with the Yellow Bird.
----------
Level 2-17
----------
Along the top of the enemy fortress are six small ice cubes. You should drop
your eggs between: the second and third, the fourth and fifth, and fifth and
sixth.
----------
Level 2-18
----------
When you launch your Blue Bird, immediately split it during the high shot and,
with some luck, you'll eliminate the rightmost two aerial structures' pigs, and
also cause a rock to fall on the left pig on the ground. Use the White Bird
next to lay an egg on the right pig from the ground, then drill the Yellow Bird
through the final pig.
----------
Level 2-19
----------
Shoot the two Bomb Birds at the same steep angle to let them land on the
structure and explode on their own to eliminate the pigs. Pretty easy.
----------
Level 2-20
----------
Use your first White Bird to knock open the ledge in which a pig is hidden.
Once it is open, send the Yellow Bird at it and drill through to hit both the
pig and the wall, with the latter collapsing on the next pig. The final pig
will be finished by an Egg Bomb. Yep, I just said a Pok�mon term. Problem?
It is also possible to Egg Bomb the back of the main structure and thereby
kill pretty much every pig, though the one in the structure often survives.
If so, do an extremely steep shot with the Yellow Bird at a medium power and
drill down, or Egg Bomb.
----------
Level 2-21
----------
Have the White Bird bomb the top of the structure, then drill the Yellow Bird
through and send the Red Bird after it. Use the next Yellow Bird to drill
further, then place the Bomb Bird somewhere in there, or, if all that remains
are the outer ones, explode it next to the hardest one to reach with an egg.
Then let the White Bird finish the level.

Level 3-1
---------
Use two near-horizontal shots, the second slightly lower than the other to
boost past the moving rock and destroy some pigs from the right while the rock
hits from the left. A pig is likely to remain. Use an angle of around 35 ~ 45
degrees to hit the way-up, leftmost TNT box, which will start a chain reaction
to finish off the rest.
---------
Level 3-2
---------
Send the Bomb Bird almost straight down, then use a splitting Blue Bird, with
the split almost after firing, to kill the remaining ones. Survivors can be
dealt with deftly by a Red Bird.
---------
Level 3-3
---------
One of the main ones to knock off is the rightmost rock to get rid of the pig
below it. After that, go crazy with your Blue Birds.
---------
Level 3-4
---------
Shoot your Red Bird to hit the headrest of the leftmost structure that looks
like a chair, and with enough power to go further. Afterwards, a high shot with
a Blue Bird split aimed primarily between the two survivors should finish it.
If not, have the Yellow Bird drill on down.
---------
Level 3-5
---------
A high shot or two onto the center of the house will do it, triggering the TNT
within and killing everyone.
---------
Level 3-6
---------
First, a heavy-powered drill into the left side of the leftmost structure - use
the Yellow Bird's drill as you approach it. Then send a Yellow Bird up high and
drill as he reaches the smaller pigs. If the initial strike was powerful enough
to move the cars, you should have finished off the pigs. If the pig in the
train is still there, drill into it; if one of the small fries remain, an
aerial strike should suffice.
---------
Level 3-7
---------
First, try to knock your Red Bird into the leftmost pig so that it will hit
the pig, the ice, then fly into the air, hit the ice, and trigger the TNT. Yes,
it is possible.
Send your Blue Bird towards the top-right two enemies. A good strike will hit
the topmost enemy, rolling him off into death, as well as the two TNTs below
to leave just the two pigs in the structure. Drill through the base with the
Yellow Bird, and use the Red Bird to kill any survivors.
---------
Level 3-8
---------
Use a high strike with the Bomb Bird and let it explode on its own; if it went
into the shafts of slanted wood, you'll almost certainly end up finishing all
of the pigs. If not ... well, I'm sure you know what to do.
---------
Level 3-9
---------
Shoot the first Red Bird by pulling back fully and lining up its tail feathers
with the left end of the launch platform.
Next, attack the top of the tower.
The initial strike should have killed off all but two of the pigs, and the
final strike will kill one, and another if your Bird hits the pig as it falls
from the ledge. If not, high-up strike.
----------
Level 3-10
----------
Begin with a super-steep shot - as steep as possible - with the Blue Bird,
splitting about a second after the shot starts. Then use a high strike with
the Yellow Bird to go ahead and attack any covered pigs - often the right
one betwixt the pillars - and use Egg Bombs to finish off the rest.
----------
Level 3-11
----------
Focus your attacks on the base, with splits, initially. Once the main structure
collapses, uses high-up strikes with close-up splits to finish off the rest.
----------
Level 3-12
----------
Launch your Blue Bird through the highest, left ice, splitting just as you get
near. Get then your Yellow Bird high up to drill through the evitable column of
wood - try to make it on the very right side, in which case you'll also loosen
the right supports and crush another pig. If you don't get this result, Egg
Bomb where you wanted to go and loosen the supports that way.
If you did get that result, use the White Bird to clear some rubble and send
the Yellow Bird straight at the remaining two pigs. If they survive, use an
Egg bomb to finish 'em.
----------
Level 3-13
----------
Shoot your Red Bird at around a 45-degree angle to hit the high-up TNT box,
and shoot your first Bomb Bird near horizontally towards the rightmost
structure. Let it explode on its own, and the other chain reaction go on; you
should have only one pig remaining. Ram the Bomb Bird into the boulder above
it.
----------
Level 3-14
----------
Use a very high shot for your first Red Bird to send it onto a pig, then right
onto a baby pig further right. Use the Yellow Bird to drill through the base of
the leftmost structure, then use a high split with the Blue Bird to possibly
finish the other two pigs off. If not, use the Red Bird to kill off the
survivors.
----------
Level 3-15
----------
Use a high-up shot with the Bomb Bird to penetrate into the structure. Let it
blow up on its own, often killing all of the pigs, or leaving just one. Use
the White Birds to finish that one off.
----------
Level 3-16
----------
Fling the Red Bird into the left side of the right tower. Unsually, this will
often end up collapsing both towers (killing their pigs), and releasing a stone
to kill off another. Then just use a White Bird to clear some debris and the
Yellow Bird, with a STEEP shot, to drill and kill the remaining pig.
----------
Level 3-17
----------
Literally shoot the two Bomb Birds directly at the stone structures and let
their momentum cut their way through before they automatically explode. Almost
always, you can then finish the level by drilling with the Yellow Birds from
high up.
----------
Level 3-18
----------
Send your birds all to the same spot. You want the Red Bird to clear some of
the weaker structure and the Yellow Birds to drill down to the TNT. If they
don't get there, the White Bird should be able to bomb it, and, if the Bird
can only clear it, let the final bird go on in. In the end, you'll win by
killing them all.
----------
Level 3-19
----------
Use the steepest possible shot to hit a bundle of TNT with the Red Bird, then
use the next Red Bird to hit the boulder to the far right. Use the Yellow Bird
to drill into the bundle of TNT near the survivors.
----------
Level 3-20
----------
Shoot the first Bomb Bird between the two structures. Use the first White Bird
to bomb the top of the first structure. Put the next Bomb Bird there, then have
the next White Bird bomb the debris atop the right structure, if a pig is there
and have Bomb Bird finish it off.
----------
Level 3-21
----------
First, have the White Bird egg bomb the gap on the right side of the castle.
Aim the Bomb Bird, from high up, next to the central tower. Use the next White
Bird to clear some of the debris from above the kingly dude, and let the next
Bomb Bird finish him off.
The remaining three White Birds should egg bomb the three or less survivors.

Two high-up shots onto the topmost platform, and maybe even just one!
What? That's it.

Level 4-2

Use the first Blue Bird, with a split, to take down the left tower, and thusly
three pigs. Take out the rightmost three directly with the other Blue Bird -
aim at them as normal, and split up when really close. Then try to take out the
remaining two in one shot with a downward Yellow Bird drill.
Using the first Blue Bird to aim at the *top* of the tower may save you some
trouble, though this strategy won't be altered majorly.
---------
Level 4-3
---------
Hit the left side of the mostly-aerial structure with a splitting Blue Bird,
and you should knock down a tower to, in the end, kill all but one pig. Use
the Red Bird to hit it, or the White Bird's egg if that fails.
---------
Level 4-4
---------
Not a lot to say. Use two Yellow Birds to break the overhang of the bridge,
then use another one or two to work on destroying the base, forcing the pigs
to fall and die.

Level 4-5
---------
Shoot the Red Bird to the rightmost pig - pull all of the way back and let go
when the Bird is lined up with the front of the Yellow Bird. Use the Blue Bird
to get the leftmost pig in a similar manner, except the line-up.
Then drill, from above, with the Yellow Bird, following up with the Bomb Bird
if needed. I'd use the base of the tower for my latter target.
---------
Level 4-6
---------
Drill thrice from the left side, pulling down a bit more each time. The final
one will likely be from above.

Aim the Red Birds to the top houses, and the Blue ones to the bottom ones. Let
the Yellow Bird drill through whichever is still up - often the top ones.

Level 4-8

Zoom in on the enemy fortress. You will see two TNT boxes.
Hit them from above with eggs. Just get the eggs beside the boxes and you'll
win, possibly. The middle dude is tough. If you ace the TNT boxes, just bomb
the remaining tower and you'll reveal the pig; bomb 'im again!

Level 4-9

See that block sticking out of the tank? Shoot a Red Bird into it - not on, IN.
Use the Yellow Bird to drill through the body of the tank and get rid of that
pig, then use low-power shots to get rid of the final pig.

Level 4-10

Shoot a Red Bird into the gap to the right, then shoot the Yellow Bird low at
the rightmost pig, drilling as you get near. Finally, use the Blue Bird to hit
the remaining pig, splitting when very close to maximize force. Then use the
Red Bird as needed.
You can lessen this work by hitting the TNT just right of the initially-aimed
for gap.

Level 4-11
----------
Egg bomb both the left and right side of the fortress. The main factor is
getting the first egg VERY close to the fortress, without being so close as
to stop it from hitting the base. The Yellow Bird is not needed.

Level 4-12
----------
Have a Yellow Bird drill into the gap above the leftmost pigs to defeat them.
Drill into the top of the leftmost towers to cause more to collapse and more
pigs to die. Finish the remaining one with a top-down drill, or a launch from
the Red Bird, depending on how many Yellow Birds you needed.

Level 4-13

Have the birds slam or drill into the bottom-left side of the structures. Easy
enough concept. The structures will collapse and/or you'll hit the pigs to get
rid of them.

Level 4-14
----------
Aim the Blue Birds at the top icy structures with high-up near-split shots,
and the Yellow Birds at the center of the supporting blocks of the platform.
That'll do it, actually.

Level 4-15
----------
Use a full-power, very steep shot to get the Bomb Bird between the first two
structures and explode on its own. Use the White Bird to weaken the area
between the next two structures and put the Bomb Bird there.
If you screw up with the second Bomb Bird, you also have two Yellow Birds for
top-down drills, which is more than plenty, even in a screw-up.

Level 4-16
----------
Use a full-power shot where you are a bit left from down with the Bomb Bird -
I'd say a few pixels cross between the Yellow Bird's face and the Bomb Bird's
butt. Let the Bomb fly, then use high-up drills to finish what the Bomb Bird
started.

Level 4-17

Hit the left base two or three times and you'll dislodge enough debris to smush
the pig.

Level 4-18

Okay, what I did was quite amazing for a first-try deal. Let's look at what I
am speaking of. The left side of the fort looks like:
# To some extent, it will look like that, or at least the part I want
# ### # you to focus on. Now, you have two White Birds and three Bomb
####### Birds. Each of the Birds you use will be aimed at the portion
# # marked with O's. If possible, try to use the White Birds' eggs an
### instant before you land. With some luck, you'll end up making a gap
OOOO where the O's are.
OO O
OOOOOO That's where the Bomb Birds come in. Launch just one in there, and
###### you will win so long as you let it explode by itself. End of story.

Use two high-up strikes in a row, with the final shot being directed at the
top of the left side of the remaining structure. Remember to split up when
close!

Use the steepest possible full-power shot you can with the Bomb Bird and let
it explode on its own. It probably will kill all but the bottom two pigs. A
mixture of drilling, egg bombs, and Bomb Birds will end that.

Basically keep aiming at the obviously-heavy top of the tower and drill into
it. Once you knock it over and kill a majority of the pigs, use some more
strikes to get rid of the rest. You know, basic stuff.
