Question for The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D
How do you increase your diving time as young Link? I can't stay under long enough to get anything.

There are two diving upgrades.
The first is found in Zora's Domain as a child. At the top of the waterfall (next to the room with King Zora) is a Zora who runs a game. Should you win the game you earn yourself the Silver Scale, which doubles the depth that Link can dive.
The second is found in the Fishing Pond as an adult. You either need the Scarecrow's Song and the Hookshot or you need to beat the Water Temple. Catch a record breaking fish and the Fisherman will award you with the Golden Scale, which further increases the depth to which Link can dive. While you must be an adult to win the Golden Scale, you will retain it as a child.
Also note: Using a combination of the Iron Boots and Zora's Tunic allows you to stay underwater indefinately. Unfortunately, this method only works as an adult.
