How do you be super sonic on levels diferent levels then the final level or is it just final level?

I havent got to the last lv. Yet but from what I know You don't turn into super sonic on ordinary lvs...
I have it on xbox360 and you can but for other systems I don't know...
In the 3DS Version it is only possible to be super sonic on the final boss.
Sorry. Super Sonic is only avalible for the final boss. You can't use Super Sonic on regular levels or boss battles. I tried to do it but it didn't work when I got 50 rings.
Very unfortunate. I really wanted that to happen.
It only works for other versions of the game. (PS3, XBOX 360, PC)
