The Charizard Mystery Gift Code was only released in Japan.
All other Serial Code Mystery Gifts require you to receive a code. The codes will only work if you live in that part of the world that the codes were released to. Each code is different. You might be able to buy one online if you'd like to. However, it would be much easier trading for the Pokemon you'd like.
