hatching shinys

Ok so I just restarted the game and I wanna use the masuda method to get a team of shinys. If I save one step b4 the egg hatches and reset the game everytime a shiny doesnt hatch, will the results always b the same or will I eventualy hatch a shiny

I've actually tried doing this before. When I tried this, the Pokemon remained the same. I believe it is because when you save the game, what that Pokemon will be when it hatches is saved. This results in the Pokemon always being the same.

When doing the Masuda Methoda, I always try to have one Pokemon and five Eggs in my party. This will give you a higher chance of getting a Shiny Pokemon. It works even better if the one Pokemon has the ability Flame Body, since Flame Body cuts the number of steps to hatch the eggs in half.
