Ive found a wierd place in lumiose...
In lumiose city I found 2 alleys like the ones with the people that ask for battles HOWEVER thats only how it looks from the outside it's actually dark and if you go into it it starts to play a cutscene of going into a new room but it's dark on the sides and theres nothing really inside it except some buildings surrounding it and some light from when you walk up... I have no idea what this place is and I've been looking on the internet for an hour.

I don't think these areas really have a purpose. I think they are just there.
I think the creators were trying to give Lumiose City a bit of a creepy feel. It is in one of the buildings that you see the Ghost Girl.

When you beat the game/defeat the elite four, a guy named the looker gets you to help him with some missions, you have to look in those areas for a little girl in one of the missions, hopei helped.

After you defeat the elite four,and you go to Kiloude City,return to lumiose city and detective looker will ask you to become a side detective and you solve a case with those alleys
