From my experience, it's good to have all different types on your Team. This way, you won't be weak to many type of Pokemon or one in particular. It's also nice to a good set of moves from each Pokemon that cover many different types.

I always like to have Technican Scizor, Protean Greninja, Speed Boost Blaziken, and Sheer Force Darmanitan as four of my six possible Pokemon. I usually like to have a support Pokemon as well.

I hope this helps!

Tyrantrum, Sylveon, Chesnaught, Greninja, Charizard and Aegislash is a very patient team I use against hyper agressive opponents. Though I don't suggest this team for beginners

Tyrantrum Chesnaught anx Charizard for triple team

Have a Pokemon that knows mean look and a Pokemon that knows perish song in the front of your party in double battle then switch out when perish song comes to 1 than the opponents Pokemon will faint.

I use heracross (attack), meowstic (suport) garchomp (for battling flying types with rock type moves) shuckle ( for defence/sp. Def. Or power swap for attack) gengar (sp. Attack)kangashkan (just cause you almost can't 1 hit ko it when it mega evolves) I've only lost once with this team, and that was out of 17 battles (all types)

I use the Traunt Durant Strategy, there are multiple variations for this team, but my favorite is:

Durant, ability Traunt, holding Choice Scarf, moveset: Entrainment, and it doesn't need any other moves.

Scolipede, ability Speed Boost, holding Focus Sash, moveset: Protect, Swords Dance, Baton Pass, and X-Scissor
:
Lastly, Kangaskhan, ability Scrappy, holding Kangaskhanite OR Focus Sash, moveset: Earthquake, Drain Punch, Double-Edge, and Sucker Punch
