Question for Pokemon Rumble Blast

Ok so we know the L+R thing for the shiny panel.Ok so I'm thinking "Wait will this work?WILL I FINALY GET MY ZEKROM?!"False hopes.It didn't work or I'm doing it wrong.This is what I do:
The guy is to the left.I hold the L button the when I'm done I hold R 'till I finish the first level['till you get on the launch pad].can you please tell me if I'm wrong or I'm dong something wrong.

There's a 10% chance of a shiny panel...I don't believe there are any sort of cheats for this, though it's best to just keep re-doing the level.
