No, but go to a town in the back of the town
There should be a green machine that lets
You release pokémon. Get at least 7 or 8
Of a pokémon and release them all at once,
It gives you money and the evolved Pokémon
Of the one you released. Easy.

Yes. It is a glitch, you have to do the following:

Complete the game 666 times, then go to into the first town. The sky will be all red, and you have to be the Pokemon you want to evolve. Keep going until the sky turns green, and fall into the hole. You have to give 1337 of your 3DS token things, and then your Pokemon will evolve.

fake fake fake fake FAKE. Everything is 666 for devilish things, stop using that cliche, and you cannot evolve your pokemon whatsoever
