In bafflewood- 3-2- can not jump over fence-I am in middle of fence- positioned upright- does not move- what does jumping in upward postion mean-what am I doing wrong

I have been trying to jump this fence too, but can't. Another post said to jump 'up' at the middle, where the gap is, but this doesn't seem to work either. Will keep trying.
Are you the same user that keeps asking this question? If not then my apologies. But anyway this is the right way. You go to World 3-2 and then you take this route: right,left,right,right,right. Then you go up and jump over that fence that is no taller than Mario. But in order to do this you have to make sure the Wiggler segment goes inside the Bafflewoods as well.
I GOT IT! Mini mario is part right when you get to the part with the pool of poison with the snif in it go in the middle instead of right and go to the first path on the left
