To Be Honest, I have had the game for a week and have noticed some things that might help you out. Although I am wondering what is the best way to earn owner points and have found that is you enter competitions and win (depending on the cup e.g junior, master, pro..) you earn a lot of money and owner points. I think it helps when you go on walks try to talk to all the dog walkers you meet on your walk, you dog will make friends and I think you will earn owner points. Another way is tending to your dogs need e.g if they are hungry feed them. Playing with them and teaching them tricks is a great way to earn points, try petting your dog/cat and you will notice "sparkles" will come off them and I think this gives you owner points but am I not 100% sure.
