Probably Cocker Spaniel, German Shepherd, and Siberian Husky. Their fast, in the long run.
So are shiba inu's, although it takes a long time to get them fast.
I have had numerous breeds in my game. From my experience I would say the best breeds for lure coursing are Siberian Huskies and Bull terriers.
P.S. If you want a good dog for disc and lour comps your dogs has better luck woth an active personality and obedience the dog is best with a calm personality.
Right now I have a Maltease and a Shiba and the maltease us pretty fast if you train it good and the shiba is new and got fast pretty fast so I think the shiba is one of the fast ones
Well, I have a french Bulldog, who wins the Nintendogs cup 2 times EVERY SINGLE DAY without fail, so she is amazing. I also have a Bull Terrier who I'm currently training, and he is getting quite fast. My Cocker Spaniel, I haven't really started training yet but she seems fast, and my Maltese is really fast, I only started training him today but he was miles ahead of the other dogs.
Hope this helped x
Well, a spaniel is the fastest breed but a dog with a curious or active personality is likely to do better than a calm dog because they will be more interested in the lure... To be honest I think the breed doesn't play a large part, it's how you train and feed your dog.
I have a Maltese called pippin, she is really fast.
It didn't take too long for her to get fast either.
I have a beagle named Chocolate and she is very fast. She won both the disk competition and lure coursing in the nintendogs section. Also, my friend just got the game and has a beagle named Dasher. They literally just started and Dasher already won the nintendogs cup in disk competition and is not far behind in lure coursing, so I would say that beagles are the fastest. Get one with a lively personality!
Hi I had a golden retriever every day, twice a day would win both disk and lure, he needs a little bit of help on obidience but only because I was focusing on the others, they are amazing!!! Easy to train as well! I Defiantly recommend one, I restarted recently and got a cocker spaniel...harder to train for disk but is still good (after a lot of practise) at lure and gets distracted easily for obidience. Bit personally, I think breed doesn't matter and it's the personallity that matters! Good luck, and I know I'm late! I just found the game again, so I'm playing it again and I'm already addicted like when I first played it!
