Can anybody prove that you can have puppies?

No. I have used an action replay on the older games and achieved what others have called "puppies." Get an action replay, buy a chihuahua, and use the dog one modifier code on the chihuahua so it becomes a larger dog, like a German Shepard, and it will stay the size of the chihuahua. I have also achieved giant chihuahuas or mini pens using the reverse method. Anyone who says that they bred their dogs using any method is lying, because the dogs cannot breed, being only puppies, and they achieved a so-called "puppy-effect" by forcing chihuahuas to become large dogs. I have found no true cheats for Nintendogs+Cats, so I cannot get a small Shepard, which saddens me.
