Are there any cheats on nintendogs+ cats where you can earn trainer points faster?

All I know is that the only way you can earn trainer points is by doing the following
1. Taking your dog for a walk/also meeting people on the walk.
2. Grooming your dogs/cats by washing and brushing them.
3.playing with your dogs/cats by petting them and playing with some toys with them.
3. Doing competitions such as the disk, lure and obedience trial.
5. Basically by giving your pets a lot of attention in any way that you can.

So all the things that wolfie1011 said, but keep in mind that each pet can only earn 200 points per day. If you just want to unlock stuff, don't bother with the trainer points, after a certain number of days, you unlock stuff anyway. Just play everyday and you'll have everything before you know it. I think after 36 consecutive days, you will have unlocked everything in your specific version and all 27 dogs(robopup included, though not in the 27). Happy gaming!
