How do I glide higher?

I see online people able to glide higher than me in mario kart 7 they get higher when they go to blue panels how are they? I tried R btw I can't find any other way

If you adjust the circle pad, it controls how high or low you fly while you are gliding. Holding down will made you glide higher while holding up will make you glide lower.

You can glide higher or lower by using the circle control pad. If you'd like to glide higher, hold the circle control pad down while in air. This will cause you to glide higher; however, it will reduce your speed. If you'd like to glide lower, hold the circle control pad up while in air. This will cause you to glide lower, and it will increase your speed.

It's a glitch because your not on one big screen so you will always see people cheating
