How do I talk to the ranger?

How do we get the ranger to talk to us and tell us where the baby fawn is located in Whispering Woods? Stephanie and player are both stuck on tractor too! Help! Keep clicking on ranger both in clover meadows (with q mark above head) and ranger in whispering woods (no question mark) but neither will work! Help!

You have to jump and then you click the ranger and he will talk to you you have to make sure you jump out of the tractor before trying to talk to him
