Are my animals eating too much?

Okay, I know this question is asked a lot, but a I am really hoping somebody can help me with this. Anyways, lets get on with the question. So, I feed my livestock every day. Each day, I put two fodder in a trough, if it is empty. Bare in mind, I have seven animals. That should be ten helpings in each trough, right? Well, my seven animals can empty a whole trough (and a little more than that!) in ONE DAY! I check my animals every day. Am I just missing something? I would really appreciate it if somebody could answer this!

P.S. I have two pets who help with the livestock. Just in case that has anything to do with this.

They only eat once a day don't worry it's impossible to over feed your animals Smile When you put fodder in the trough it fills it up with one fodder per trough, so it's not like your wasting any--actually your fodder goes further if you don't graze them so much.
