Will they be making ar codes for this?

I'm still trying to find that out. From what people are saying, Nintendo made the 3DS and are trying to prevent people from using cheats. See, Nintendo never made nor do they endorse cheat components. The companies that make GS and AR have hacked Nintendo systems to create a cheat component that will work. The 3DS is near impossible to crack.
That being said, the AR you have for your 3DS is for regular DS games only, and is just to make your old games and cheat codes compatible with the 3DS. I hope they change this, because I'm quite fond of money/building material cheats. Good luck.

Here's how to make a ton of money: Abuse the wifi, trust me, it works

To make a good amount of money in the of the game, summer year one...
Fish traps...this enables you to catch small fish in multiples..( I will explain the use for this) shrimp and clams. The shrimp go for quite a good Coin! Also you will be able to catch bottles, and coin...these go for an upwards of 100+!
Now...you should have blueprints for fish traps..invest in making a dozen or so , after your done with your farm duties, put all your items away in your bag except for fish traps and head to the river. Rocks with sticks is where you place the traps, I place them in all three areas and run between them. And yes traps will break..what we are after is the multitude of small fish bottles and coin! ( keep the black rocks and big branches..for later use) once you captured 20+ wrap it up and head home! Head to the kitchen and start cooking!! Use " grill fish" and cook all your fish!! ( if don't have the recipe head to the general and buy the recipes.. ) once you're done " grilling" you're fish head to the shipping bin..even a small plate of grill fish starts out from 100+ coins. In one swoop 25-30 is at least 2500-3000 coin..probably more !! I was able to receive 6500 in one swoop !!
