What you do is you just walk around you're town or something and every 100 steps is 1 playcoin. Walk like 4-5 blocks every single day (or 3 if you get tired :L) Or just RUN RUN RUN FOR DEM COINS :D

To get playcoins you must put your 3DS into sleep mode (have it turned on, but closed). Put the 3DS into your pocket and walk around. You can have it in your pocket as you do chores or run errands. Every 100 steps you take will give you 1 playcoin. You can only get 10 coins in one day, and you can only have 300 maximum at any given time.

To get play coins you can put the 3DS in sleep mode or just close the 3DS. Then walk around with it in your pocket or shake it. Every 100 steps gives you 1 play coin. You can purchase a fortune cookie in ACNL for 2 play coins.
