Mario Tennis Open Cheats for 3DS
Play the 'Clubhouse' options to get an easy 200 coins. Minigames can be played for a certian amount of coins and if you hit ALL 50 balls in 'Ink Showdown' you can earn 2,000 coins.
To do this play a Single Player exhibition match, play Singles, select your best character, select COM2 character and make COM2 difficulty 'Novice'. When you win the message 'A new item is avalible at the item shop' will appear on screen with the item you unlocked below. If you select a star character it will be a lot easier winning the match and you can also unlock outfits in the tournament match.
The following costumes become available when you complete the corresponding task.
Unlock Bee Mario Costume:
Turn 8 Mario characters into star characters.
Unlock Birdo Costume:
Beat an Ace opponent in a singles Exhibition match.
Unlock Boo Costume:
Buy 100 different items in the item shop.
Unlock Bowser Costume:
Earn 50 Victory Medals from Online Multiplayer Open Matches.
Unlock Bowser Jr Costume:
Earn 20 Victory Medals from Online Multiplayer Open Matches.
Unlock Cloud Mario Costume:
Turn 10 Mario characters into star characters.
Unlock Daisy Costume:
Collect 700 ring points in Ring Shot Callenge with another player.
Unlock Diddy Kong Costume:
Meet 20 Mii characters via Streetpass.
Unlock Donkey Kong Costume:
Meet 50 Mii characters via Streetpass.
Unlock Dry Bowser Costume:
Earn 100 Victory Medals from Online Multiplayer Open Matches.
Unlock Fire Mario:
Turn 2 characters into star characters.
Unlock Goomba Costume:
Add 100 items to the item-shop shelves.
Unlock Luigi Costume:
Beat the Star Final Cup Tournament in Doubles.
Unlock Luma:
Collect 1,500 coins in the Galaxy Rally Challenge Special Game.
Unlock Mario Costume:
Beat the Star Final Cup Tournament in Singles.
Unlock Peach Costume:
Collect 800 ring points in Ring Shot Callenge.
Unlock Petey Piranha Costume:
Reach 50 returns in the Ink Showdown Challenge.
Unlock Propeller Mario:
Turn 5 characters into star characters.
Unlock Tanooki Mario Costume:
Turn 15 Mario characters into star characters.
Unlock Toad Costume:
Reach a total of 50,000 coins.
Unlock Waluigi Costume:
Collect 800 Coins in Super Mario Tennis level 2-4.
Unlock Wario Costume:
Collect 800 Coins in Super Mario Tennis level 1-4.
Unlock Wiggler Costume:
Earn a total of 5,000 points in Online Multiplayer Open matches.
Unlock Yoshi Costume:
Use QR Code from official Nintendo website.
When you complete the following tasks the corresponding character will become available.
Unlock Baby Mario:
Complete 1-3 in the Super Mario Tennis Special Game.
Unlock Baby Peach:
Complete the Pro Rings level of the Ring Shot Special Game.
Unlock Dry Bowser:
Complete the Inksplosion level of the Ink Showdown Special Game.
Unlock Luma:
Complete the Superstar level of the Galaxy Rally Special Game.
When you complete the Champions Cup of the World Open the character you played as will be rewarded with a star which will enhance their abilities.
The following CPU difficulties can be unlocked for use in Exhibition mode when you complete the indicated task.
Ace Difficulty:
Beat the Final Cup tournament.
Pro Difficulty:
Beat the Champions Cup tournament.
Complete the Final Cup in the Star Open tournaments to unlock the following courts.
Galaxy Arena Crystal Court:
Complete the Final Cup in the Star Open tournaments.
Galaxy Arena Morph Court:
Complete the Final Cup in the Star Open tournaments.
Beat the indicated tournament to unlock the corresponding cup.
Unlock 1-Up Mushroom Cup
Beat all four cups of the World Open.
Unlock Banana Cup
Beat the Flower Cup tournament.
Unlock Champions Cup
Beat the Banana Cup tournament.
Unlock Final Cup
Beat the Shell Cup tournament.
Unlock Flower Cup
Beat the Mushroom Cup tournament.

To unlock different colors of the yoshi and Metal Mario, at the screen that you choose the account you want to go on, simply press UP on the control pad, and while you're doing that, press START. You will have to go on your computer (which you surely have) and look up yoshi QR codes. Scan the code you find and you will have a new YOSHI!
