Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D Cheats and Tips

You will earn a red medal when you collect ALL the K-O-N-G letters in a level, if you then collect ALL these letters again in Mirror mode the red medal will turn blue.

Collect every KONG letter in Mirror mode, complete every stage in Mirror mode, and collect ALL the Puzzle pieces to unlock the pictures that are labeled 'only the most determined ape may unlock this item'.

A new area called the Golden Temple will appear on the map when you have beaten the game. To be able to enter it you need to collect 8 rare Orbs. To get these you must return and collect the K-O-N-G letters in each level and then complete the special temple level in each section of the map. Alternatively, you can visit each of Cranky Kong's shops and buy an Orb for 50 coins apiece.

When you have beaten the game the Staff Credits will become unlocked. They can be viewed in the Options section of the main menu.

Return to the 'Extras' menu when you have defeated a boss for a given section of the island to unlock a bonus music gallery that will feature tracks that were played in the levels of that particular section. If you have used Super Kong to defeat the boss the bonus music will not be unlocked.

Beach Music:

Beat the boss of the Beach section.

Cave Music:

Beat the boss of the Cave section.

Cliff Music:

Beat the boss of the Cliff section.

Factory Music:

Beat the boss of the Factory section.

Forest Music:

Beat the boss of the Forest section.

Jungle Music:

Beat the boss of the Jungle section.

Ruins Music:

Beat the boss of the Ruins section.

Volcano Music:

Beat the boss of the Volcano section.

Within each section of the map there is a special temple stage. To find this stage you must collect the K-O-N-G letters from every level of that particular map section.

Beach Temple:

Collect ALL KONG letters from every Beach level.

Cave Temple:

Collect ALL KONG letters from every Cave level.

Cliff Temple:

Collect ALL KONG letters from every Cliff level.

Factory Temple:

Collect ALL KONG letters from every Factory level.

Forest Temple:

Collect ALL KONG letters from every Forest level.

Jungle Temple:

Collect ALL KONG letters from every Jungle level.

Ruins Temple:

Collect ALL KONG letters from every Ruins level.

Volcano Temple:

Collect ALL KONG letters from every Volcano level.

A new section on the map called the Cloud will become unlocked when you manage to get inside the Golden Temple. Complete ALL 9 of it's levels to unlock Mirror mode. This mode allows you to play through flipped versions of each level. Diddy Kong is not available in Mirror mode and you are only given one heart.
