As with previous Animal Crossing games there is a rock situated in each town that when hit with an axe or shovel will give you money. It will only do this once a day but if you hit it enough it is possible to get up to 8,000 bells.
Many of you have probably heard of the duplication glitch. To add to that, when you dupe, don't dupe bells- dupe royal crowns. They sell for 300k each (600k with bell boom) and will fill your entire inventory with money with only four crowns (2 with bell boom).
A villager will always pay for anything less than 4x the suggested price. This means that if you want to sell those superb coffee beans, your villagers will always buy at 7999 bells
During Festivale, it can often be annoying having to find specific feather colours for Pave. The rainbow feather is a fantastic feather, as you can give just 1 to him, & he will give you furniture or carpet/wallpaper. The tricky part is finding them. However, there is an easier way to collect lots & lots of rainbow feathers during Festivale.
Around town, search for a rainbow feather, making sure the only thing equipted or in your pockets is a net. Once you find one (it is suggested having a second player watch the feather to avoid it despawning), get it onto the beach & glitch into the Abyss as fast as you can & use the abyss to get under the beach area where the feather is. Then use the Abyss Farming Glitch to catch the rainbow feather (if after several attempts the feather keeps despawning, get another player to watch the feather while you enter the Abyss) & to keep catching until you have them filling your pockets. You can use letter storage also, so you can hold more. Now exit the Abyss.
Now you have 16-27 rainbow feathers, & can get HEAPS of items from the Pave Series. This trick is fantastic if you're trying to complete the Pave series.
During Halloween, it can ofter be hard finding candy without playing a game with your villagers. Well now you don't have to. All you need to do is find a villager who is inside at the time, find out what mask scares them, get that mask & scare them. At first you will receive a lollipop, but if you re-enter their house & keep scaring them, they will give you candy. Keep exiting & entering their house & scare them over & over to get an unlimited supply of candy! This trick is great for people who want all the spooky & creepy items.
A slow & frustrating; but effective way to get the master bug catcher badge is to use the abyss farming glitch to catch many butterflies on the beach. To attract more butterflies to the beach, plant some flowers along the beach. Using this method, you can catch up to 17 in 2-3 minutes. This makes it much easier to achieve the master bug catcher badge.
An effective way to find out if your villagers are moving away is to talk to villagers over & over again until they mention someone is moving. It is also even more effective to talk to a villager with a peppy personality. They are more likely to mention any moving villagers, since they like to know the latest gossip & rumors. If a villager tells you a m=villager is moving, go see that villager. If they don't mention that they are moving, restart the game & go talk to them asap. They should then mention moving, & you can save them!
This glitch was found by ME so if you tell anyone who found this glitch, tell them Matt from Venom did.
For this glitch you must meet these categories:
1. Have all 16 slots empty.
2. Know how to do the net glitch.
3. Make sure either snowflakes, feathers, butterflies, beetles or any bugs are on the beach.
To perform this glitch, you must enter the Abyss. Once you are in, proceed upwards pressing A occasionally to see where you are. Once you reach the beach, search for items that you can catch with your net. If you find one, catch it.
Once you catch it, don't even move. Just press A. You will catch another of the bug/item you caught. Keep pressing A to fill your pockets with 16 of that bug/item you caught. This glitch can happen whenever there are bugs or items (snowflakes, feathers) that can appear on the beach. You can also do this alone of with friends.
Have fun with my glitch!
The net glitch is similar to the tweeter/beans glitch, except you don't need a friend to help you. Face the thing you want to glitch into (hold your net). Then, hold A and sneak forward as slow as possible. You must sneak as slow as possible otherwise nothing will happen. If you notice yourself starting to sneak through the object, keep holding and sneaking as slow as possible.
Have fun glitching with your friends!
Step 1: Daily Activities
Every day there are things you can do to earn money. The rocks in your town are a huge part of this; each day stand in front of a rock with your shovel, dig one hole behind you to hold you in place and then hit the rock. If bell bags come out, keep hitting it until no more comes. If you are using a silver shovel then ores might come out instead of bells. Every day there will also be one extra rock in your town. Hit it with your rock, and it will break apart to reveal an ore.
DO NOT sell your ores to Reese. Instead, take to Re-Tail and put them in the flea market for 3x the recommended sell price, and make sure your villagers buy these ores. There is a chance some of them will say it's too expensive, but be persistent. You can do this with coffee beans that you gain from Brewster as well, and earn from 4000-8000 more bells than you would if you sold to Reese! Selling coffee beans and ores in Re-Tail is great if you don't want to ruin the design of your villagers houses because they won't put them in their rooms.
Shaking trees in town is also an obvious method of making bells. Some trees will give you bells or furniture that you can sell for 3x the recommended price in Re-Tail. Even bees will give you 500 bells if you sell the beehive and 2500 bells if you manage to catch and sell the bee. If you get stung, don't buy medicine. Just Save and End once you've shaken all the fruitless trees in town and your sting will be gone.
Going to the Island
The island is a gold mine. I find 4pm-9pm is the best time to catch rare fish. Not all the most valuable fish on the island has fins, so if you see a fish that looks big imagine it has a fin. If it looks too small to have a fin, it's a sea bass. If it looks long enough, it could be a napoleanfish or a blue marlin, which both sell for 10,000 bells.
The bugs come out at 5pm, although I find they're more common after 6pm. Bug catching is much quicker the fish catching if you do it properly.
You must remove all the flowers and bushes because these will attract non-valuable bugs so that rare ones will not spawn. Chop down all the trees except for two on the grass and one banana/coconut tree on the East and West of the island. This is because the placement of other trees mean you are more likely to spot rare bugs too late and scare them off.
When you spot a rare bug, hold down on A to get your net ready and push the analog button only half way in the direction of the bug so that you move very slowly. Let go of A to catch the bug. Any bug that appears on banana/coconut trees at this time will be worth catching, but rainbow stag beetles are really the only valuable ones on trees on the grass. Run past trees with any other kinds of bugs on to scare them off so rare beetles will spawn sooner.
This is the fastest way to make money. You can make millions in minutes, as long as you're patient and careful.
On Sundays when Joan comes, buy loads of turnips, and I mean loads. Spend all your money on turnips if you can. Then fill your storage or the storage of one of your other characters with the turnips. If you don't have room, buy out the museum exhibits and leave them there on the floor.
WARNING: DO NOT time travel while you have turnips or leave the on the ground outside; THEY WILL SPOIL AND DIE AND BE WORTH NOTHING
Then be active on websites with AC forums like the Bell Tree forums or Animal Crossing Community and look for people with high turnip prices. Every day someone should have prices of 400-500 bells per turnip, which will make you MILLIONS. Try to sign up to enter their town early because it's a pain to be in the queue waiting for your chance to get in.
When you're in, make sure all your turnips are in your storage and then sell them in their Re-Tail and put the bells in your storage for now. Follow the rules of the host though (e.g. Stay on paths, etc) and maybe leave them a few thousand bells as thanks for letting you in when you're done; trust me, when you're done, you'll have plenty of bells to spare!
Thank you for reading this guide, I hope it helps. Good luck in all your bell-making endeavours!
Want to buy everything in your shops, but you don't have enough money? Not a problem! Here is a way to get more bells and buy cheap stuff.
1. Set town ordinance for "Bell Boom". Wait for the ordinance to get activated.
2. Go to the island and get a lot of bugs and fish. Sell everything to the recycle shop afterwards
3.Deactivate the town ordinance "Bell Boom" and wait for it to be deactivated. (everything in shops cost more with the bell boom)
4. Be rich and take everything from the shops!
I hope this helped!
If you're desperate to get your 20 readings done, there's a way to do it, but it requires patience. Make sure you have your character visit and get their fortune read. Make sure you do this before she closes, and then just stay in the tent until after midnight in the game. Once the game recognizes it's the next day, Katrina will act like this is your first reading. As long as you stay in the tent, you can get another fortune without her leaving.
First, unlock the tropical island. Then you go there at about 11 p.m. Then you catch as many BEATLES as you can. But chase away non-expensive bugs like fruit beatles ( you can only have 5 bugs on your island at a time ). Hope this helped!
WARNING: Beware or your item can be lost forever.
To duplicate items, you've to connect to Internet and go in your friend's city. Then drop the item you wish to duplicate. Once the item is on the ground, your friend must end multiplayer session. During the game save, there's a circle, when it has done 1 round, you've to turn off the Wireless switcher on your 3DS.
When you return in your city, you'll have the item you dropped. Then go in your friend's city again, you'll find the item you dropped on the ground. Pick up it and you'll have 2 same items.
The Glitch works with money too.
When you’re working for Brewster, make sure you a cafe guide on Google to get all your orders perfect for each customer. If you get the superb coffee beans, don’t sell them to Reese for the measly 2000 bells just yet.
Instead, offer them in the flea market to make quite a lot of money. You can either take the safe route and sell them for 6000 bells; all villagers will buy it for that much. Or you can sell them for 8000 bells! There is about a 50% chance the villager will say it is too expensive.
Evrey day theres a rock that includes bells and another rock that has a gem in it. First you need a shovel from the nooklings shop then look for rock that include money or gems and for the gems to make furniture get three golden nuggets and tell cyrus to make the furniture an you can sell them for like 2,000 to i'd say 10,000 bells
In ACNL most people think selling assessed fossils is the best way to get bells. Actually Selling Goliath Beetles,Cyclomatus Stags,Horned Hercules (ect.) But it in your town it has to be
7:00pm-12:00am. So please leave a comment or a like below.
Shake all of your fruit trees. You will be able to pick the fruit up and then sell them at re-tail for 100 bells each. Since fruit grows very very quickly all you have to do is keep repeating this process and you will be rich in no time. Also if you buy something like a bed for example and let's say it's 1,500 bells, you can easily just go to re-tail and put it up for the flea-market for more than 1,500!! NOTE THAT PEOPLE WON'T BUY IT UNLESS it's WITHIN 500 BELLS RANGE OF it's NORMAL PRICE!! For example if something is worth 1,000 bells you can sell it for 1,500 or less but if it is more than 1,500 people won't buy it.
1. Look around your town and shake trees WITHOUT fruit on them.
2. Every once in a while, bells will drop out of the trees.
3. Keep shaking trees until you hear something drop out of a tree that is not a bell.
4. Look at the opposite side of the tree that is not the side you are standing on. Something that looks like a honeycomb has landed on the ground.
5. Some sort of Black Spots will buzz around the honeycomb. The music should change, and the black spots will begin to chase you.
6. RUN!!! Hide inside a house or building until the black spots (those are really wasps) stop chasing you. If you do happen to get caught (AND STUNG!) follow the next steps. If you are not caught, pick up the honeycomb and sell it at Re-Tail.
7: The wasps will sting you, and you will be covered in stings. Grab the honeycomb.
8. Save and Exit the game, then go back to your save file.
9. Your wasp sting will be gone, and you can go sell the honeycomb at Re-Tail.
Hope this helps. ;)
When you go to Nook's Homes and ask Tom Nook if you can expand your house, he'll tell you how much your loan will be, then he will tell you that your house expansion will be completed by the next day. After you do this, save and quit the game. Wait until the title name pops up and when it says press A (If you immediately press A, Isabelle will tell you that you didn't save and you'll lose the expansion deal). Select continue, then your file. When Isabelle asks you if you want to get started, select "I need help first..." then select change time. Change the date 1 day ahead of today and put what time it is right now. After that, begin playing, go back into your home after you exit. You'll see that your house expanded! Save and quit again. Do the same process but change the date back to todays date and set the time to the current time. Start the game, go back into the house and you'll see that nothing has changed! If you do not want to pay your loan, do not go to Nook's Homes, but no renovations will be made. Enjoy your expanded home!
