Fallout 3 Xbox 360 Cheats and Tips

If you go to Andale, and go into a place called "The Smith's House" at 12:00 A.M there should be a boy named "Junior Smith", and then murder him while he is sleeping.(Sandman perk) you should get some Xperia (max of 65xp) and then when you stab him, you should be able to stab him again and again and again etc. Until you reach lvl. 20. You can still stab the boy but you won't get xp.

When I was exploring vault 106, a blue screen came up. (like in new vegas you eat buffots or whatever and screen goes black and white) and it was a vision of the vault's first days. Now through out the vault you will find crazed survivors who will try to kill you (one of the people has a chineese soldier's sword) watch out for this guy. At one part there is a vision of like 4 different dads walking in a lab telling you to get out. Then there is a bunch of amatas telling you to run. The first is a vision at the entrance and it is all of your vault friends trying to find their quarters and the last is in the labs and it is a bunch of terminals with messages (the vision will not go away 'til you have read all of the terminal messages) and this is all I no so far. :D happy glitching :D

So I was playing fallout 3 and I killed 3 raiders outside of the super-duper mart(do moria brown's quest in megaton to find this place) and 2 of them had alien blaster ammo.

And the next, when I was at paradise falls (the slaver company) I killed almost everyone there and waited 3 reality days then played again and had a weird weapon called methanol or something with all of the ammo.

During the mission shock value ( you can only get the armor during this mission)go in to the old olney sewers through a trap door on the right side of the building the center of the town. Once your in the sewers go to the left till the wall then go right down the hill turn right again and and follow that part of the tunnelgo in the room and take the door to the left and go till the first door on the right go in there and there should be a dead man or women in what looks like power armor which should actually be the medic power armor

To get out you have to (well this is what I did) kill the overseer take his key go to where this guy name jonas I think it is his name he will be dead go into the overseer's office and exit Vault 101.

Hello fellow Fallout 3 gamers; do you like killing super mutants? If you do then here is some of there homes. Jefferson memorial police germanation hq and some other places too.

Before you read: I've tried this it works you just have to do it right, OK? Save before-hand.

1) Go to Big Town, and find Pappy, the guy that watches the ladder bridge leading into Big Town.

2) Pick the dialogue choice, "You came here with Bittercup right?": If the choice isn't there, find Bittercup, and talk through all of her conversation choices. Speak to Pappy again, if your Speech skill is high enough {Speech 100%} should appear next to the dialogue choice.

3) Now selecting that dialogue option with success will get ya 6XP. Do this over & over for however much XP points.

Free Stuff from Bittercup

If ya want free stuff from Bittercup, you have to agree with her and put super sweet to her. If you do it right she'll give you an misc item..

Head exactly North of the MDPL-13 Power Station, and you should come up to a small mountain. (Yes I know there is alot of them, so just read on.)

On the East side of the mountain, you'll pick up the Recon Craft Theta Beacon radio signal. If ya don't get it after searching the East side of the mountain. Check your radio signal to see if you picked it up awhile ago, before using these instructions.

If you did have it before I told you this, then walk around the mountain, and check your radio signals until the Pip-Boy shows it's letters glowing. If it's glowing and you already knew that then search east side for a destroyed house.

The house should be downhill a little so look everwhere! Once you find the house, you may or may not be in range of the radiatio..

Butch - Neutral Karma, in Rivet City after completing "Trouble on the Homefront."

Sergeant RI-3 Robot - Neutral Karma, bought off Tinker for 1000 caps, normally found near Robco Factory near Tenpenny Tower.

Fawkes - Good Karma, Must be saved in Vault 87

Dogmeat - Karma doesn't matter, In Scrapyard, northeast of Megaton, across the river.

Charon - Karma doesn't matter, is a Ghoul; his contract has to be bought in Ahzraukhal, in the Underworld.

Star Paladin Cross - Good Karma, found in Citadel.

Jericho - Evil Karma, lives in Megaton, needs 1000 caps for supplies, before being your follower.

Clover - Evil Karma, is a slave; can be bought in Paradise Falls.

If you blew up Megaton, well then good for you, thats what I did on my evil character. I was walking the Wastes, and this is the first time this has happened to me, but my dog, Dogmeat, started growling.

I turned around and go into V.A.T.S. Well and there are 3 Megaton Refugees marked as enemies. So this means some people made it out. But don't fear, they are only about as strong as vicious dogs.

The board of education is, (as you probably guessed it,) is a nail board. It's located in Clifftop Shacks. Clifftop Shacks will have should have two Supermutants outside of the two shacks there, and a captive. The location of Clifftop Shacks is around the top, right-ish area of the map. (Not like the very top right corner,).

In one of the shacks is another Supermutant, and captive. In the other shack, on the bed is a skeleton with the Board of Education in his hands.

P.S. - I wonder how he died?

First, Uncle Joe is a Super Mutant. Second, he is friendly, unless if you attack him. When I found him he was being attacked by 2 vicious dogs, so be prepared to fight just in case. Uncle Joe is unarmed, so depends on the character for how hard of a fight he'd be if you wanted to attack him. Talk to him, and you'll have a few dialogue choices. If you ask him how he got his name, he'll tell ya that he thinks that was his name before he became a Super Mutant, or he read it in a book. Either way he can't remember.

You can also talk to him about his Super Mutant life, and learn that the Super Mutants are born this way. But created! He'll say that he didn't like that his brothers took captives to try and make more of them. He tried to convice them to stop, but they tried to kill hi..

If you didn't blow up Megaton the first chance you got, before looking around town first, then you are able to snag the Stregnth Bobblehead. First of all, you know about Lucas Simms, right? Town mayor & sheriff, like as he says "when the need arises." Well if you have a high enough Sneak skill, then you can take his key to his house. I recommend saving first. After you get the key unlock his house without being spotted, and go upstairs. Search both of the rooms, Harden Simm's room,(his son,) and Lucas's room. In Lucas's room, on his desk is the Bobblehead. When you take the bobblehead, remember it isn't stealing.

You know about how in the quest "Baby Steps," once your dad comes back into the room. He calls you over and tells you about your mom's favorite verse from the Bible. 'Revalation 21:6?' Well after your dad leaves the Vault, you can go into his office again and the picture frame with 'Revalation 21:6,' on it is on the wall. If you are that sneaky, devilish player that wants their character to specialize in stealth-like abilities. Bringing your lockpicking up high enough will allow you to unlock the safe that lies behind the Bible's verse.

Medicine Bobblehead Location: In your dad's office in Vault 101. Can be obtained after speaking to your dad before you take the G.O.A.T. Exam. Or if you go into his office when you find out he left the Vault. No matter which of these times you choose it will be on his desk.

If you listen at the beginning of back to the future the enclave song will play.

In the mother ship Zeta add on in the Captains record 25 the guy getting captured is talking about tv shows and he says that he wouldn't care if he is in the alien zoo. There was a twilight zone episode where aliens tricked an astronaut into becoming a zoo animal.

Some Fallout players may have not heard of a deathclaw. It is one of the many creatures. Want to find one? Walk out of Megaton, circle around it from the right or left, and then you should see 2 or 3 deathclaws.

When the Super Mutant Behemoth's have been found and killed they will not spawn. They can be found at the following locations.

Evergreen Mills:

Behind an electric enclosure beside the train tracks at the bandit camp near Vault 112. When the generator powering the enclosure is destroyed the Behemoth will escape.

Takoma Industrial:

Located east of the GNR Building at the end of the map. The Behemoth is just north of the factory, standing in the middle of some wrecked cars.

Jury Station:

Go west until you find a group of crumpled up train cars. Search this area until the Behemoth appears. You will know if you are in the correct area if you see a teddy bear in a shopping cart.

The Capitol Building:

Ok so first things first get the Contract Killer perk at level 14 (may work with Lawbringer, but not sure). Find a good person who when you kill them will go unconscious, not die. Some people I know of are Doctor Preston, Harkness, and Shrapnel all in Rivet City. I suggest Doctor Preston because he is usually in his lab where you can close the door and no one will see. Now make sure nobody see's and kill them a ton of times. Once you think you have killed them enough pickpocket them. They will have the amount of ears as the number of times you killed them. Now go to the Scrapyard and sell all the ears to Daniel Littlehorn. Can also be used for tons of bad karma. If you an evil person who will go unconscious (not sure if there are any) this will work with the Lawbringer perk.

If you have the wasteland explorer theme in your Megaton House if you have Dogmeat as a follower when you walk in he will spawn on the table

The Alien Blaster is one of the most useful guns in all of fallout. It weighs only 2 pounds, and does 88 damage at about only 75 DR. This gun is extremely easy to get, if you know where to go.

First, head to the MDPL-13 Power Station(if you havent discovered that location yet, it is north, and a little bit east of the Minefield). Then, follow the power lines untill you come to where one of the towers is bent in a wierd way. Head East a little bit, and you should pick up a radio signal called: Recon Craft Theta Beacon. Then head north again, untill you start to recieve radiation. Once you start getting radiation, look around untill you find a crashed U.F.O. Head to the western side of the ufo, and there should be a dead alien with glowing ammo, and a pistol looking weapon, the alien ..

Once you have completed the quest entitled 'Blood Ties'. Vance will give you schematics for the Shishkebab If you don't want to build one, Simply attack and Kill Vance. Loot his Body and Find it, There will also be a Key to a Sword cabinet. Up the stairs on the Platform head in the direction to where Ian West was stop about Ten Steps in and Turn around until you see a Wooden Door walk in there this will be Vance's Room, look for a Sword Cabinet open it and find a sword called 'Vampires Edge'.

To Those: On Fallout 3 There Is A Weapon Named Ol Painless. If you have not found it but have found The Republic Of Dave. While in the Main Building, If you have the Dog Dogmeat, ask him to find you a Weapon. When he comes back He should have Ol Painless. Another way is to simply kill Dave and take the key the third is finish the quest and get it as the Reward. There are Two Ways to get Smugglers Ends. One way is to Pick Pocket Elder Lyons, he might not have it.

Second way is for Dog Meat. It is in a Room guarded at the door with two Brothers of Steel. Once you go in there, Walk around until you find a safe, then you do the same thing to get Ol Painless. I hope the Hint has worked.

If you wake up in the Citadel's infirmary (after activating Project Purity) without your follower's in sight, here's the solution: After speaking with Elder Lyons once you wake up, the only follower you may find with you is Dogmeat (if Dogmeat was with you in the first place). If you had a second follower with you that doesn't appear, exit to the Citadel courtyard, then re-enter Ring A, then Ring B and go to the infirmary. There you should find your other follower.

It is possible the follower didn't load properly, so leaving and returning may then load them correctly.

Note: I am not the only one to come across this problem. I have read reports of others having the same trouble and using the same method, so it should be a universal solution.

If you happen to fall off a tall bridge or something in which case you will almoat certainly die. Just before you hit the ground quickly save your game and then continue falling to your death then your game will load to the last save point which was about a metre off the ground and you fall from there and land perfectly safe

First off for all the people that don't know what the firelance is,it's an alien balster but stonger and can set enemies on fire.

To get the firelance early in the game you must walk all the way to whilhem's warf (if you don't know how to get there just follow the link) and save.Now swim east to the anchorage memorial where the random events begin.If you do not know how the event of the firelance looks like,you have to look up in the air and you will see a trail of black smoke and you will hear an explosion.

It will take a few ties before actually getting the firelance,but thats why we saved before discovering the memorial (it took me about 12 tries).Now once you get the event start searching because the explosion scatters the ammo and the firelance,the firelance wi..

In the quest "Strictly Business," one of the people you must enslave is Susan Lancaster. After putting a slave collar on her, get your payment from Grouse back at Paradise Falls. After receiving your payment, go to the slave quarters in Paradise Falls and talk to Susan (you'll need a key to open the gate to the slave pen, so pickpocket one). Talk to Susan and when she asks for help, choose the option "You're a slave. Deal with it.", then return to Grouse to collect the reward again. Grouse will think that you captured her again. You can repeat this as many times as desired to get 250 Caps and a slave collar each time.

Note: There is a downside to this trick. Each time you talk to Grouse to receive payment, you also receive a slave collar. These collars each have a weight of 1 ..

There�s a hidden weapon to be found in the area of the Sattelite Relay Station. After Liberty Prime has smashed a hole in the building, walk past this hole without entering the actual hole, and walk past a few pipes. Check the rocky ledges to your right, just around the corner. In the town girdershade when the one ladu don't know whaty asks for you to find Nuka-Cola Quantum and you leave her house a man named Ronald will intercept you. Be nice to him and when he starts talking about getting with her act like you don't know what he is talking about and he will say your naive. Keep acting like you don't know what he is talking about and you should get a speech option for getting double or you can pick another if you have the black widow option wich is the one you want to pick(it talks about a threesome...) he will run off and try to get you nuka cola!

Okay have you ever wondered how to get more skill points early on? All you have to do is spare one of your S.P.E.C.I.A.L. Points. Okay what I mean is take your luck skill down to 1 I belive is lowest, and take one point from another and put all the stored points into intellegence. When you level up you will get over 20 skill points and when your lv. 4 you can get the comprehension perk to get an additoional point.

In the town of Megaton go to the craterside supply go in and talk to Moira Brown then ask about the items she sells then go to misc. And she will have it in there for about 1000 caps.

That should help.

First find a ammo dispenser,

Then fill your ammo,

Activate your pip-boy and go to the ammunition screen and drop your ammo

Then activate the ammo dispenser,(your ammo should be full again)

Then pick up the dropped ammo.

This will work with all the weapons except the glauss rifle.

After clearing both paths during the second part of the dlc, request a mister gutsy,and nothing else,from your commander and tell it to follow you to a secure area, then kill it and request another one keep doing this until the desire xp..

Ps:make sure the guy following you doesn't see you.

1. Every Few Days outside of Megaton 2 men will appear outside with a Brahmin.

One of them SHOULD always have a schematics book.Have a Combat Shotgun(Recommended) or a Mini Gun and Kill them both.Take the key from one of the dead men and kill the Brahmin.Take whatever you need and waith outside for 2 hours and go into "My Megaton House" and store what you don't need at the moment.

2. The Best Skills To Tag At The Beginning Of The Game Are:

In order to get Star Paladin Cross and Fawkes as a companion at the same time just follow these steps:

Karma (No Need to Read If You Have Good Karma):

If you don't already have good karma just donate 1000 caps to any church which will put it to very good karma or donate less and just get good karma. If for some reason you want negative karma for some reason go to rivet city and kill about 10 security guards but no named characters since they are actually useful and don't re-spawn, this should put you to Very Evil or at least really close, If you don't wanna go on a massive killing spree just go on and off someones computer without doing anything, you still lose karma.

Actually getting them:

Recruit Fawkes FIRST, Then go to the citadel and make him wait in ..

West of Rockbreaker's Last Gas, there is a giant hill. And if you look, there is a shack on top of that hill. If you make it up and go inside, you will find a cage in the corner with like 4 Radroaches inside, each with weird names. Ignore them or kill them, but you will find a cabinet (or something... I don't really remember) that is a Very Hard-Lockpick (FYI: 100 LP needed to get in) inside is the Victory Rifle, a special Sniper Rifle.

NOTE: In here there is also one of the Keller Transcripts (a holotape) which you need to get the MIRV Fatman. (There are 5 total)

Near the Deathclaw Sanctuary to the west, there is a chapel. Go here and when you walk towards the front, a guy will start shooting you with a sniper rifle, kill him and search his body to get the Reservist's Rifle. The Reservist's Rifle is a special Sniper Rifle, that has only 3 bullets in a clip, and I think it has a faster shooting rate.

NOTE: If you kill the guy, and his body doesn't fall down, you may have to stand on the Preacher's stand or podium in the corner, and jump and search his body in the air, because there is no other way to get to his sniping spot. ALSO there is some ammo and other things inside the chapel.

If you have found the alien blaster north of the downed powerm line and ran out of ammo then there is only one place left for it. If you head east from valut 101 to the overpass with a trailer you will hear a missle. Look up and find the smoke trail. See where it lands (it makes a huge explosion so it's not that hard) and heas to the explosion. You will find 100-150 rounds for it and the firelance for repair the alien blaster or sell it for some caps.

Im not sure if this was just a glitch but , like the 6th time dogmeat ran away from me to vault 101 when I went there he was just normal but I sneaked up on him and I could pick-pocket him . I could put weapons , armour etc in his inventory , I could even put a grenade in him to kill him instantlly . This may have just been a glitch but try it for yourself .

1. If you click on the right stick while pointing at an object your player will lift it, it will pretty much just be floating above your face but pretty much.

(use this to steal stuff where someone is always looking, just move it to where you can hide then take it, you can also lift dead bodies to use as a meatshield, just be careful since this slows you down and it is kind of hard to get the body to stay under your cross hairs, and don't try it right as you are getting shot at, I can guarantee you will just lose more health.

2. While trying to hack a computer if you have one try left turn off the computer, then get back on and you can try again 4 times as usual. Also look in the random symbol parts for multiple symbol that are higlighted, click these and a certain one of..

There are two ways to get Col. Autumn's suit. The first is right after your Dad dies. In the first part of the game where your dad leaves and you get the gun from anna or what ever her name is (optional) when you walk past the room where your b-day party was when you were 10sometimes a radroach will be in the doorway and run into the left side wall that the door would slide down and walk inside it and float inside the wall NOTE: you cannot shoot/hit the radroach with anything you must wait for it to glitch out

When you come across a Scavenger ask them to repair your equiptment. Repair what is needed then kill the scavenger and get your caps back. You can spend as much as you like and always get all of your caps back, you loose karma but who cares

This is fairly easy to get. If you side with the Mechanist during the Super Human Gambit Quest, and help him protect his facility from the ANTagonizer, and kill her and take the Mechanist her clothes, he will give you a special Laser Pistol called Protectron's Gaze.

At Fort Independence, the Outcast Brotherhood fort, there is a Missile Launcher called the Miss Launcher. You find it in a storage room just off of the room where there are like 8 terminals, or the Research Room. The Miss Launcher lobs the Missile instead of shooting it straight at a target, making it a sort of Grenade Launcher.

To find the Alien Blaster, first go to minefield then head north to the power station, then follow the power lines till you see it knocked over. Near this point you should begin to get radiation (only +1 per second.) It is here where you should find a downed UFO, which near the cockpit is a dead alien, the Alien Blaster, and loads of Alien Blaster ammo. The Alien Blaster is the best weapon in the game.

Easy Exp: This one is fairly simple, but megaton must be standing for it to work. First, go to your house or the store and get a couple frag mines. Second, go to The Craterside Supply store. (the shop in Megaton). Third, walk behind the wall that the mercenary is leaning on and stand directly behind him behind the wall,(just walk until you can't anymore) and drop the mine on the floor. Then, as quick as you can, disarm and pick up the mine. If you did it right you should get some experience every time. (It can explode so be quick!)

Hidden Supplies:This one also helps if megaton is still standing. First, go out the main megaton entrance and take a left. Keep walk using back using the wall (megaton)as your guide. This place usually has a couple mole rats around it. Keep walking ..

When you get to the map location in the top northwest corner of the map constintien base with all robots there go to the co qouters there is a doll in a safe for the vault tec achivment and if you keep going down and down you should get to a room where there is a security bot and a raider called tara kill them both and take her key and go to the locked door to the left the room shood be blue with neon lights all around there is a fatman,metal armor and the 5lb armor I'm pretty sure there was a computer you have to hack when you hack it you can get the armor out of the glass barrer and the helmet too hope I help you all out(its also my favorite armor)

As you walk around the wasteland you will come across outcast brother hood as they make patrols. Follow them [ it's a little slow but worth it ] they will come under attack and kill what is attacking them and you can go collect items from thier kills. Use the vats system on the outcasts and notice thier life bars are going down.

Keep following them untill one or all of them die and take thier armor and weapons. Thier armor can be used to repair brotherhood of steel armor also.

You can also use this tactic with the caravans and get thier items also.

Watch your karma level. If it becomes too evil a group of mercs called the regulators will come and try to kill you. I am being dead serious.

You propubly know this but if you crouch and use V.A.T.S. You can aim better.

Ok, I finally found out where all of the fat men in Fallout 3 are. There are only nine in the game! They are on a dead man near the scrapyard, at fort constantine, sewer olney, fort bannister, germantown police HQ basement, evergreen mills, galaxy news radio station on the dead brotherhood soldier that gets killed by the super mutant behemoth, white house utility tunnel on concrete island, capitol building (west entrance). This is a bobblehead that you can find in Vault 101 and it raises your medicine skill to 10.

Endurance bobblehead-Head down into the slope in the Deathclaw sanctuarary. It should be near the Brahim Corpse.

To get alot of caps in this game you need to do the Nuka Cola Challenge. And inside the girls house and when she isn't looking rob her blind. You will get alot of bad Karma but it could be really worth it.

To do this you need access to Paradise falls.

Walk around near this bar and there will be this guy and skip his dialouge and he will give you a bunch of useful items they can be some useful junk, weapons, ammo, or health. So if you need items for free go to this guy.

To get easy caps youre going to need to find a base named Fort Independence at the bottom of the wast land when you find it talk to the out cast guard at the front neer the door to Fort Independence. When you talk to him he will give you a task of finding tech like, energy weapons, plasma armor, enclave armor ,or power armor. Takeing stuff back will let you choose from stuff like 5.56 ammo, stimpack, rad-away, or grenades. When you get the choice choose grenades and after a while of trades go to trades in Rivit City and Megaton (if you choose not to blow it up) than your mony will acumilate. I,ve gotten up to 13,000 caps.

After getting alot of caps a fun fact shoot the truck when the out cast guy is neer it will kill him reget all the stuff now it will be fully fixed and sell ..

This is the easiest way to kill them put frag mines in front of you and make sure they get your attention when they do make sure you are behind the frag mine and 8 outta 10 times one of it's legs would be crippled and it will be slowed down and then this is the time to shoot at with some assualt rifles. For some people who are asking me how you kill more then one enimie around it is easy. You first get a weapon that has alot of ammo. Like a shotgun or a chinese machine gun. You first lock on to the enimie and then if you are close to them lock on to them and fire one of them in the head ane then switch by moving the control stick to the other and fire at the head of the other one. Yes, you can just kill raiders, but, if you go to megaton, you can get a side quest to go to the super duper mart.There are a bunch of raiders.Also, there are a lot of ammo boxes in there.you should get youre lock pick to 25 1st.also, youmigt find a couple laser pistols in there.

If you go to little lamplight, look for a little girl named knock knock and she will want to tell you a story, when she tells you the story at some point there will be a speech challenge, you will almost always succeed but even if you fail it, it will still be there, so you can just keep doing it.

If you have the unpatched version of the game then this cheat will work. What you have to do is get your Speech skill up tp about 30 and go to 'Big Town' which is located north of Vault 101. Talk to the girl called Bittercup who will tell you about her dating exploits and then go to the house which is marked 'Common House' and talk to the man named Pappy. There will then be a speech skill dialogue option that says 'You came here with Bittercup, right?' and every time that you click it you get XP. Keep repeating this to get as much XP as you want.
