Unlock Hard Mode
When you complete a chapter on the Normal difficulty setting the ability to reply any mission from that chapter on the Hard difficulty setting will become an available option. Press LB and RB to toggles between chapters and X to toggle between the Normal and Hard difficulty setting.

This is quite simple to explain actually. You probably have rockets in your arsenal. Rockets do not lock on, but only give you the horizontal lines to aim with. So just change your weapon to a gun or to missiles and you will be able to lock on again. |
