Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness Cheats and Tips

This is simple highlight the "new game" then press triangle,square.circle,triangle,square.circle and x you will hear her voice if you do the cheat correct

To catch a monster all you need is to lower the monster's heath to at least 20 or lower and throw it in to your base panel and one of two things will happen

1.it will be catched and added to your party list. Or 2. It will destroy your base panel and everyone in it(note some monster can't be catch like angel,celic,scout,ronin,and edf solders

If you play through and complete the game in Etna mode there are a couple of different endings which can be viewed:

Normal Ending - Just comple the last chapter in Etna Mode.

Beauty Tyrant Overlord Etna Ending - At the Dark Assembly, pass the proposal for Alternate Netherworld and The Mysterious Seal, then defeat Priere, Marjoly and lastly Baal.

Unlock Good Ending:

Without killing allies beat the game.

Unlock Bad Ending:

On the 100th floor of a legendary item defeat the Item God.

Unlock Dark Assembly Ending:

Persuade by Force 100 times in the Dark Assembly.

Unlock Etna Heroine Ending:

Before Episode 5's Ice Queen Battle kill 100 or more allies and then choose to kill Maderas.

Unlock Flonne Tradegy Ending:

Before Episode 3 and the Lavish Hall battle kill 50 or more allies and then choose to Kill Hoggmeiser.

Unlock Midboss Ending!:

Lose to Midboss in your first encounter with him.

Unlock Overthrow Earth Ending:

Clear human world.

These classes become unlocked when the following tasks have been completed.

Unlock Angel Class:

Get a Female Cleric, Knight and Archer ALL to at least level 100.

Unlock Archer Class:

In Bow Weapon Mastery get level 3 or higher.

Unlock EDF Soilder Class:

In Gun Weapon Mastery get level 30 or higher.

Unlock Galaxy Mage Class:

Get a Prism Mage to level 50.

Unlock Galaxy Skull Class:

Get a Prism Skull to level 50.

Unlock Knight Class:

Get a Female Warrior and Female Mage both to at least level 10.

Unlock Majin Class:

Get a Male Warrior, Brawler, Ninja, Rogue, and Scout to at least level 200.

Unlock Ninja Class:

Get a Male Fighter and Male Warrior both to at least level 10.

Unlock Prism Mage Class:

Get a Star Mage to level 35.

Unlock Prism Skull Class:

Get a Skull Mage to level 35.

Unlock Rogue Class:

Get a Fighter and Warrior (male or female) both to at least level 5.

Unlock Ronin Class:

Get a Female Warrior and Female Fighter both to at least level 10.

Unlock Scout Class:

Get two Fighters or Warriors (male or female) both to at least level 5.

Unlock Star Mage Class:

Get a Fire, Ice and Wind Mage ALL to level 5.

Unlock Star Skull Class:

Get a Fire, Ice, and Wind Skull ALL to level 5.

Before you can open Etna's room you must first locate the and press the two secret buttons in Laharl's castle. These are behind the throne and inside the skull on RosenQueen's store counter. When you have managed to press both buttons go to the room Ghoss, Longinus, Gargo and Stigma are and in the corner behind Stigma press 'X' to reveal the door to Etna's room.
