MLB '06: The Show Cheats and Tips

Enter the following codes at the Main menu to unlock the corresponding, if you have entered the code correctly the controller will vibrate as confirmation.

Unlock ALL Players:

At the Main menu press Left, Up, Left, Right, Down, Right, Left, Up. Go to 'Player Movement' and then 'Free Agents' to find the players.

Unlock ALL Teams:

At the Main menu press Left, Right, Right, Down, Down, Left, Up, Up.

Unlock ALL Uniforms:

At the Main menu press Up, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right, Down, Up.

Run Faster:

At the Main menu press Left, Left, Left, Up, Right, Right Right, Down.

Run Slower:

At the Main menu press Right, Right, Right, Up, Left, Left, Left, Down.

Unlock ALL Stadiums:

At the Main menu p..

Alright if you are playing on any game level and you want to try to hit a homerun then when you are up to bat move the right analog stick up and you will feel it vibrating just move it up nt on any other direction get a good timing and you will hit the ball very hard this works very well I have hit 94 homeruns in one season so try it.

If you can't hit it, press circle for easy hits.

Before you start carrer or franchise go to trade alll your sucky players for the good players like Reggie Stocker(Barry Bonds),Albert Puljols,Alex Rodriguez and more and you will have the ultimate team!

All stadiums

At the main menu, press Down, Up, Left, Right, Up, Right, Up, Down to unlock all stadiums. If you entered the code correctly, the controller will vibrate.

All teams

At the main menu, press Left, Right(2), Down(2), Left, Up(2) to unlock all teams. If you entered the code correctly, the controller will vibrate.

All players

At the main menu, press Left, Up, Left, Right, Down, Right, Left, Up to unlock all players. If you entered the code correctly, the controller will vibrate. Go to Player Movement, then Free Agents, to find the players.

All uniforms

At the main menu, press Up, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right, Down, Up to unlock all uniforms. If you entered the code correctly, the controller will vibrate.

Maximu..

First, go to the game features section. Than, go to Edit Players. Now, you'll notice it's not just players you created, It's real players in the Majors. Choose the player you want to edit. Than for fun, Turn up all the hitting and fielding attributes all the way up and same with the pitcher attributes, if it's a pitcher. This will make that player the ultimate player.

Create a team of created players (this may take a while) and you will be unstoppable. I tried this and I had a record of 159-2.

Pause the game and press "Up, Right, Down, Left, Right, DOwn, Left, Up".

At the Main menu, press "Down, Up, Left, Right, Up, Right, Up, Down".

Pause the game and press "Right, Right, Right, Up, Left, Left, Left, Down".

At the Main menu, press "Up, Down, Right, Left, Down, Right, Down, Up".

Pause the game and press "Left, Left, Left, Up, Right, Right, Right, Down".

At the Main menu, press "Left, Up, Left, Right, Down, Right, Left, Up".

Pause the game and press "Up, Up, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up".

Pause the game and press "Right, Right, Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Left Break".

At the Main menu, press "Left, Right, Right, Down, Down, Left, Up, Up".

To get a mega team in franchise mode go to roster and edit your starting lineup to max attributes to have a MEGA TEAM that barely ever loses.

When on second or third base when you lead off the pitcher might pitch it and not give you time to steal the base

When doing so(leading off) hold R2 and then lead off when the buttons dissapear(the pitching buttons etc...) automatically steal by pressing (for second to third)triangle left on the d-pad. And third to home.square down on the d-pad.
