FIFA 07 PlayStation 2 Cheats and Tips

As usual with the FIFA series of videogames, there are no tap in cheat codes, we currently have a list of rewards which you can unlock during gameplay as follows.

Challenge Mode:

Win five games.

Classic Team:

Complete Challenge Mode.

Dribbling Mini Game:

Win five games in a row, in Career Mode.

Giant Team Flag:

Win a match in Career Mode.

Goalkeeper Mini Game:

Stay unbeaten in five games, in Career Mode.

Additional Chant Sound:

Win ten games not in Career Mode.

Interception Mini Game:

Win ten games in Career Mode.

Home Stadium Upgrade 1:

Win a blowout in Career Mode.

Move into first place in the league, in Career Mod..

When you play regular matches, win cups and complete challenges you will earn points which then be exchanged at the Fan Shop under 'My FIFA 07' when you have the corresponding amount.

To be able to do the following you must be in 'Manager Mode' as it will not work in a match. Save the game and quit 'Manager Mode' then load the game up again and your players stamina will be almost fully refilled. This can be repeated as many times as you want to keep your team's stamina full.

When you are scoring a penalti, move the direction/left analog stick in any directions, and watch your player's head. It will be allways moving.

So, when you are defending a penalti, watch your oponent's head to see where is he going to shoot.

In gameplay push select twice to make your team all atack and press it again to make your team all defend this will help win all the challenges and help win the game

The best team in my opinion is GK Cech RB Zambrotta CB Terry CB Cannavaro LB Carlos RM Ronaldo CM Ronaldinho CM Kaka LM Robben CF Rooney CF Shevchenko.I have this team in manager mode and I never lose matches.Ps buy theo walcott he goes up to 99 he is brilliant.

If you want to be the best at manager mode, go to edit player in one of the menus and edit a player from any team. Put all their stats up to 99(don't worry about the keeper stats of outfield players) you can do this as often you want to whichever player you want. If you do this save and make a new manager on manager mode. Chose that team that you chose to make al 99s and your team will all have stats of 99. They will also be worth alot of money on the transfer market

move the player where the player are doing the wall press R2 hold l2 or r2 to make the other player shoot and add a little power and its perfect free kick

First go to create a player make about 9 with their stats all up to 99 or 98 then put them in your fav team(e.g chelsea) then go to manager mode enter all your detials.

Go pick your fav team be them in manager mode. Go to transfers then club transfer list, choose all your created players for sale play your first match then (e.g Arsenal they might bid 39 million or over 60 million depending on your players ages).

Accept all the bids then go look at your cash and you have loads to spend in the transfer market for brill players.

If you are Chelsea don't buy players of Arsenal they will never accept bids from rival clubs.

Barcelona will consider all clubs bids.

Podolski will never come on loan to your club his agent will only sell him.

To perform an elastic with Ronaldinho move the trick stick forward (twice) then rotate right/left,if you fail just keep on trying

Half way goals

Sometimes have a shot from half because the keeper is usually out and the ball will go over his head and ALWAYS have shots at goal from ALL free kicks I once did it from behind the half way line with Nemaja Vidic (I was using Manchester United)it bounced over the keepers head.

Easy goals

When one on one with the goalkeeper, press L2 + Circle to do a finesse shot. This will trick the keeper from going from one side to the other. For example, fake right and shoot left or vice versa. It will go in about 90% of the time.

If you have the ball and are outside the area but not on your half, you can check on the map how far the keeper is off his line. Normally he is about two meters. You can lob him easily if you get the power correct.

In manager mode when you go to team management it can trick you. Like once I put A.Robben in LCB & it said 100/87. But when I played him in a real game he was 53/87. So keep players in there real positions or else you're screwed.

In manager mode you can choose which side to go on go on the side you aren't the manager of and keep scoring own goals!!!

Instead of being manchester united or liverpool try making your own team with all your own players on and if you make all your players on a 99 ability for everything you will have the best team ever

When you save your team it will come up in the rest of the world category and if you shoot from any where in there half it is more than likely to go in

Shevchenko and D.Drogba are a great partnership. They have scored so many goals for me in my career

To get an easy goal for a center ball just jog straight towards your opponents but don't sprint and one player will jog in front of you but every one else will stay where they are just keep running down the middle of the pitch until you get past the oppenents defence and then just move to the side of the man in front of you and SHOOT!!!

When a transfer window opens (whether it is January or End/Start of season) IN THE FIRST WEEK, search for any players from any leagues that are on "free agent" then sign them if they are about rating 80. Then put their status at "for sale" this means clubs will start to bid for them at about �3,000,000 a time. In my first season, I bought a guy at 78 for �0 and sold him a week later for �7,850,000!!! By doing this I have all the upgrades you can get, and I have more than �100,000,000 !

Win every game in career mode by updating all of your players to 99% simulate and win but rotate your players and watch out for the occasional draw against chelsea and arsenal

Some players can do tricks that not everybody can do

For example: Rafael van der Vaart(HSV) can do a magical- i- dont- know- the- name trick. Also check Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho and Pablo Aimar

Apparently, if you acomplish 2 whole sections in manager mode then a new difficulty level unlocks which is harder than world class....

When you can not be bothered to do all of the leagues and cups, from all the countries, replace one of the better teams (square button on the team you want to replace) and place a decent team, like Chelsea, or Barca, and quick sim all the matches.

When you need a lot of possession to complete the challenge, score a quick goal, and then just hold the ball in the corners.

To shield theball in the corner, go over to the corner slowly, then tap R1 to shield.

You know if you go on challenges and you do a football league .like championship

Football league you can add clubs so add the strongest club on the game like barcelona and do same for all the league challenges on there.

To get loads of money in manager mode all you have to do is make up a few players and make theyre overall 99 and then put them at the club you want to be and start a new manager mode and sell the created players and you should get about �40,000000 for each of them

When making a cross press L2 and square and when the striker gets it keep holding L2 and press O.

When your keeper is ready to save move to any side left or right to the very end then when the other player kicks it moves the opposite way fast and 99% of the time you will save it.

I have saved over 50 penalties on my career, doing it that way.

When you take direct free kicks you should be able to make almost every single one of them pretty easily......all you have to do (in front of the box) is hold up and put about 1/3 power of a kick (no layoff) and to the area where the goalkeeper isnt....only if really nesecarry curve around but that gives too much time for the goalkeeper to react and block......

When on the sides of the box use a lot of curve (must bring the screen far away from the net sometimes so you can not see the net) and just tap the circle button....this will put major curve on it if you have a great free kick team i.e. I have ronaldinho I use for the left curves....and Lionel Messi for the right curves.....find out what works for you though and that will produce the most goals....

The best way to do the challenges is to do the cups first then the challenges

To get a very easy goal just give the ball to your keppers feet (if in his hands just drop to your feet) then just drible to about the second line of grass) about 10 yards ) and hold lob all the way down. Then switch to your forward and just start running to the other goal. If you do it right you should have a clean breakaway. (HINT: make sure you give time for your fowards and there Defense to get back to half way line or there Defense will just get the ball).

This hint for the most part requires Ronaldo because he is just so fast. Anyway take Ronaldo all the way down to the goal without passing at all. When you get in the Goalies Box you pretty much be 1 on 2, you v.s. The goalie and 1 defender. The defender will go behind the goalie and wait for you. Now for the part where you own both of them. First of all you rainbow it over the goalie, this may seem hard and it takes a while to learn but when you get it, it is a great weapon. Next let the ball bounce to the ground now you will use a move that beats most players when used 1 on 1 it is called the 360 Spin. After that you should just be able to walk it in.

Controls of moves:

Rainbow: press up and swivel in a semi-circle to the left and end at the bottom.

Before you start manager mode just create about 3 or more players with everything 99 as there stat, prefferably strikers, then add them to the team you want to be in manager mode, start manager mode as that team then fill in the details [basic] put the excellent players up for sale, but play them and they'll be worth more, after that someone will put an offer in for them, about 45 million - 60 million!!

Not really a question but if you have ever wanted to get proper boots for your player like (vapors, predators, tunit+ etc.) you have to complete all challenges in Challenge mode and then go to edit or create a player go boots and there you will have all the boots and all the colours. Cheers Grant

When you have just been given a freekick out side the box move your player where you want him to kick it and hold in L1 and press circle it is a very fast shot and not much time for the goalkeeper to try and save it.

To unlock Legendary mode, you must complete 2 challenge regions, the reward is 2,500, and the challenge is called, 'Total Footballer Challenge'

This is absolutely the best team ever because you don't need to pay for upgrades and they have a good base....im in my 2nd season and I have for my starters in a 3-5-2:

To have a great team create some players with an overall score of 99, create a club and put your created players in it and put players with an overall score of 80 or above, when done you will win most of your matches.

First, pick AC Milan, then pass to Pirlo go the half of the field, standing still, and just hold square with the bar filled all the way up. It works 70% of the time.
