To Get Pleinair to join your party, you have to beat the game. A quick way to beat the game is to lose to Mid-Boss in the 4th stage of Vyres Castle; it technically counts as beating the game because you lost to Mid-Boss which results in the Mid-Boss ending. Now continue your game & you'll restart the game with your characters on the same levels they were on when you previously "beat" the game. Go through the intro & the tutorial, then go to Pleinair as if you were going to the Dark Assembly. Talk to Pleinair & choose the blank option, she will then join your party. Pleinair is a huge help to your party! She is great for killing bosses because she has insanely high speed! She barely ever gets hit!

An easy way to level up your characters early on in the game is to first get to level 5-3 (the level titled Terrible Cold; it's a map comprised of invincible squares & one normal square). Then, throw the enemies on top of each other, that way they will combine & make a higher leveled enemy. Repeat until you reach the desired level you want the lone enemy to be. Once you are done combining enemies, get the enemy onto the lone normal square, & get 2 characters to corner it so it can't get away. Since your characters are on invincible squares, they wont be damaged. Now, take your time depleting the high leveled enemies health. Be sure that the character you want to level up delivers the final blow (careful of counter attacks). Be careful though, if you make the enemy's level too high, your characters won't be able to damage it. Also, it helps if the high level enemy you make is a Kit Cat & not a Succubus, because a Succubus can restore it's health by leeching off of your characters' health. A way to know before hand what combination of enemies will result as what enemy, is that the enemy you throw onto the stationary enemy will not be the result, example: you throw a Succubus onto a Kit Cat, the result will be a higher leveled Kit Cat.

When you complete the following tasks the corresponding hidden character will become available.

Unlock Adell:

In the Cave of Ordeals beat the 'Demon Hall Mirror' stage 6 times.

Unlock Rozalin:

In the Cave of Ordeals beat the 'Demon Hall Mirror' stage 7 times.

Unlock Priere:

In the dark assembly get rank 8 and pass the bill 'Altermate Netherworld'. Then beat ALL the stages.

Unlock Marjoly:

In the dark assembly get rank 9 and pass the bill 'Misterious Seal'. Then beat ALL the stages.

Unlock Zetta:

Pass ALL the enemy bills and when you get Gordon into your party beat the first stage in 'Stellar Graveyard' again.

Unlock Plenair:

When you have beaten the game talk to Plenair and select the blank option.

The following endings become unlocked when you complete the indicated task.

Unlock Normal Ending:

Have at least one ally kill and do not fulfill the requirements for any other ending.

Unlock Good/Best Ending:

Complete the game without any ally kills.

Unlock Dark Assembly Ending:

Force proposals in the Dark Assembly 50 times.

Unlock Flonne Tragedy Ending:

Get at least 50 ally kills before Chapter 3, Stage 4 and then kill Hoggmeiser when prompted.

Unlock Etna Heroine Ending:

Get at least 100 ally kills before Chapter 5, Stage 4 and then kill Maderas when prompted.

Unlock Item God Ending:

Kill an Item God or Item God 2.

Unlock Midboss Ending:

Lose to the mid-Boss of Chapter 1, 4, 6 or 10.

Unlock Overthrowing Earth Ending:

Pass the 'Human World' proposal at the Dark Assembly and then complete the Human World stages.

The following endings can be unlocked in Etna mode by completing the indicated task.

Unlock Normal (Default) Ending:

Complete the last chapter in Etna mode.

Unlock Beauty Tyrant Overlord Etna Ending:

Pass the proposal for 'Alternate Netherworld' and 'The Mysterious Seal' in the Dark Assembly and then defeat Priere, Marjoly and finally Baal.

When you have beaten the game start a new session with the cleared save game file. Go through the Dark Assembley Tutorial and then talk to Plenair, select the blank option and press A and Plenair will join your party at level 1.

In the DS version of the game Etna's secret chamber is a feature that can be unlocked. This is done by pressing the buttons located behind the throne and in the skull beside the weapon shop and then checking the wall behind the Prinny in the same room as Longinus.

The following list tells you how to get the hidden character classes in the game.

Angel:

Female Cleric, Knight and Archer ALL at least level 100.

Archer:

At least Level 3 in Bow Weapon Mastery.

EDF Soldier:

At least Level 30 in Gun Weapon Mastery.

Galaxy Mage:

Level a Prism Mage to Level 50.

Galaxy Skull:

Level a Prism Skull to Level 50.

Knight:

Female Warrior and Female Mage each at least level 10.

Majin:

Male Warrior, Brawler, Ninja, Rogue and Scout ALL at least level 200.

Ninja:

Male Fighter and Male Warrior each at least level 10.

Prism Mage:

Level a Star Mage to Level 35.

Prism Skull:

Level a Star Skull to Level 35.

Ronin:

Female Warrior and Female Fighter each at least level 10.

Scout:

2 Fighters/Warriors (Males or Females) each at least level 5.

Star Mage:

Get 1 Fire, Ice and Wind Mage and level ALL 3 of them to level 5.

Star Skull:

Get 1 Fire, Ice and Wind Skull and level ALL 3 of them to level 5.

Thief:

Fighter and warrior both level 5.

This feature is accessed at the 'Title' Menu by placing your cursor on 'New Game' (Top Choice) and pressing X, Y, B, X, Y, B, A. If you have entered the code correctly you will hear Etna's voice.
