It is possible to get free gems by unlocking a new map, mastering a level or sending an SMS invite to a friend through the game itself.

It is worth remembering that your heroes will get a bonus when they are ALL of the same faction so it is worthwhile using the faction bonuses to get an advantage for when you face off in tough battles against the computer or other players.

In Battle mode you will be unable to see your opponents player levels or strengths but as a general rule if they offer a reward of 110 or less coins you are almost certainly guaranteed victory. If howerever the reward offered is 150 coins or more you are more than likely going to be defeated which will result in you losing trophies and getting no coins.

Try to save the Stat boost runes for when you encounter tough sets of battles and just use the Exp and Gold boost runes on battles that you are sure you can win.

Get the most use out of the runes by only using them when you have full stamina and energy.

The rarer your warrior is, the more experience it will supply if it is fed to another.

Try to add more heroes who attack multiple enemies at a time as this will give you an advantage against larger parties.

Make a point of always levelling up the weaker warrior first so you get a larger Experience boost.

If you need more Experience points and coins you can always go back to previous stages to earn them, you will get the same amounts that you did the first time you beat them.
