Clams

To rebuild the town of Quahog you will need coins and clams, you will be able to acquire coins easily but clams a bit more difficult to come by on a regular basis. There are several ways which you can get clams, you can claim them by connecting the game to your Facebook account, inviting five of your Facebook friends to play the game and finishing off quests that are represented by a white present box with a red bow on it. You can also spend real world money to buy clams.

Coins

The best way to get coins quickly is to keep repeating the short term tasks for your characters such as having Peter surf the bird which takes a minute to complete. When you are going to sleep or going to take a long break from the game it is more beneficial to set your characters long term tasks such as Peter dancing the Shipoopi.

Building Location

The game will position a building in an ideal location when you install it so don't try and move it from it's default location.

Blocks

Only clear the blocks you specifically instructed to eleminate, don't bother with any of the others.

More Space

One way to make more space for buildings is to get rid of the roads, this can be done free by tapping the '+ -' sign at the top of the 'Rearranging' screen.

Leveling Up

Have characters complete joint tasks with other characters to level them up quickly.

Experience

You will increase a characters Experience level whenever you complete an action with them, you will also earn coins and overall Experience points.

Unlock Characters and Features

Just focus on the gameplay and don't worry about characters and features as these will become unlocked as you progress through the game.

Unlock Chris Griffin

When you have completed construction on the the Griffen House this character who is the elder son and middle child of Peter and Lois Griffin, brother of Stewie and Meg Griffin will become unlocked.

Can't complete "Creature Of Bad Habits" achievement.

If you have Long John Peter, there is an action to have him "Drink At The Clam". The difficulty is that it takes a full day (24 hours) to complete each time, and even though I am trying to do this, I still don't know if I will get the achievement. It is the ONLY action that specifically says "Drink At The Clam", and it needs to be performed 50 times. I am still trying to do it in-between other "adventures" they have built into the game. Peter is the only character you cannot send on vacation, so whenever he's not performing some other action, I have Long John Peter (Drink At The Clam). Since there is no counter, I have no idea how many times I have done it. Maybe if you want to try it, keep track of how many times, and 50-days later, you MIGHT get the achievement.

In the FG Episode "Dial Meg for Murder" Meg ends up being put in prison on the charges of aiding an escaped prisoner when she ends up helping her "boyfriend" hide out from the law after he escapes from prison himself.

Basically Meg goes away a dainty little girl and comes back a very hardened criminal - well that is the idea anyway. The link to the game is really more of a way to get that outfit into it than it is any real element of the story that is unfolding with the release and unlocking of District 9...

At the real Comic Con they announced a Family Guy and Simpsons Cross-Over event for the shows.

The special cross-over show is actually on Sunday, 28 September, and not on Halloween - so it is not going to have anything to do with Treehouse of Horror or the traditional event for Halloween.

Will there be more Character and Outfit Collections?

They actually have been adding and modifying the collections all along, so the simple answer to your question is yes, yes they will.

The more complicated answer simply requires you to look at the collections they actually created two new clam-bearing ones for Comic Con, and consolidated the outfit collections. The last current character collection covers the characters for areas 9 and 10 so the answer is yes.
